In fact, when Ann became ill Thomas used her recipe, which she acquired from her father, as a tonic for his beloved wife. This tonic went on to become the now world famous Sparkling Ale. It has a great body, a bit of fizz which can be adjusted for a head whilst pouring to a glass, and very little sediment left in the bottle, but always good to keep an eye on the pour to avoid this in the glass. Taste is superb and may try and add some hops next time just to polish it off, but for me this is a fantastic kit and well worth the money.
