Brute Force Strong High Performance Duct Tape (242703)

This tape is thick and sturdy. And it has more adhesive on i that “duct” tape. I only use it when I want to tape things together permanently as it does not come off easily and will tear most softer materials. Great to have on hand for tough jobs.

I purchased this tape to meet two important needs. One, it needed to have very strong adhesion for hard use applications and two, it needed to be very weather resistant for long duty use in year round outdoor conditions. This tape meets both of those needs. I have used this product in lieu of installing new roof vent pipe boots when the old units failed. In this case, the tape was much easier to install and it has lasted for well over a year on my home's roof and it appears to have not deteriorated in the least. It is a bit difficult to loosen off of its roll, as the adhesive is very strong. Also, a strip of this tape must be cut from the roll with a knife or scissors. The average user will have trouble trying to tear a piece off of the roll like normal duct tape. However, those two factors should be expected for a really quality outdoor, heavy use tape. I can highly recommend this product.

You have to understand what this tape is meant for. It is NOT a super adhesive tape for everyday uses. While the adhesive is rather weak, the advantage of this tape is that it is fiber reinforced and has incredible tensile strength. Use this in applications where you need things to not get pulled apart (think rope), do not use it if you need things to just stick together. When using, it’s best in applications where you can wrap it onto itself multiple times. I used it as a backer in conjunction with a slab of ceramic, and it stopped AR15 rounds (M855 and M193).

It's a good tape and strong, but for the price difference, Gorilla tape does the job 90% of the hard jobs this can and Gorilla is cheaper. I bought it just for special jobs or emergency's that need that 10% extra. Because of the price, it is not my go-to tape. I use Gorilla or even Duc for everyday strong use. But, at least I know it's there when I need it in a pinch.

When I cut my first piece it seemed like a scam. The tape didn't seem tacky and I thought I was sent a duct tape knockoff. Then I used it to attach cork soundproof panels to pvc. I'm going to have to cut it loose if I want to change anything. I know nothing about tape. This is very strong tape. I even used it to cover daughts from poorly aligned windows

I am looking for the old style cloth tape.. I had several rolls from the 80's. It was very tough and sticky.. It is still working on things . The new stuff,, and this is not the only one I have tried,, is cheap and much lighter and not as sticky. I have it on some outdoor stuff now and it has already peeled. The old stuff is still holding on A/C lines from 20 years ago.. I had ten rolls of the old stuff.. Thought I would never run out.

This is sold as some type of “extreme” super duct tape that can hold 700 lbs. I don’t have the means or desire to test those claims, but I wanted a few rolls of the absolute highest quality duct tape that i could find to build out an emergency roadside kit for car trips. I can’t imagine any scenario during a road trip where this tape would be overmatched, so for that purpose I’m very happy with this purchase. Cost is a bit extreme for a rather small roll of duct tape, but I imagine if I ever need to use this it’s money well spent.

I used this tape for a very tough job that required direct sun all day long. What a great tape. Sticks like it should & is so sturdy. JUST LOVE IT! BEST EVER!!!

Excelente calidad hasta ahora. Muy resistente y pegado muy firme, solo habrá que ver su durabilidad que al parecer será muy duradera.

This stuff is crazy strong, just absolutely nuts how strong it is.
