SmartMax Basic 25

Hours upon hours of fun for my 3 year old. We had initially played with a similar set at a cousin's house and my daughter being 3, wanted to bring them home with her so I placed my order on Amazon right there and then. I guess in my excitement and rush I didn't notice how big the pieces of this set were compared to the set we had played with. However, I'm really glad that they are bigger because I know I can leave her with them and not fear her swallowing any of the pieces. The case is also great for carrying and storing the set after use.

I purchased 2 sets for our 3 yr old twins birthday, they had asked for them after seeing an ad on TV. They arrived promptly and the boys love them. They ask to play with them all the time. At 3, they need a little help making the designs in the books, but can come up with some pretty neat stuff all by themselves. I've ordered the curve sets to add to them for Christmas!

these are such great toys even for tiny hands and they love figuring out the magnetics! It can keep my baby busy (until she moves onto the next thing!) I need to get a bigger set next. even easy enough for a 15 month old to use.

This is a fantastic family game with endless options. We play with our two year old son and the pieces easily go together and are super fun for him to crush when it is time to start a new round. It teaches a lot about structure, balance, encourages creativity and holds teh attention of a two year old much longer than other toys.

My kids (2 and 3) love to play with these. They are super easy to build with and are of decent size for them to handle. I like that the pieces are easy to find and pick up compared to other building toys. Will definitely be ordering more for them to add to the collection. Definitely recommend for the kid who likes to build.

I love these!!! They are such an awesome building toy. I have bought my 3.5 yo son two of the SmartMax Basic Sets (25 & 36) and my only complaint is that I want them to come with more pieces. I use up bars quickly making a stable structure and want to keep building :) They are so well made (important with magnets) and have more powerful magnets then other similar sets I have tried at friends. At this point I am probably more into them then my son which is why I docked them a star (that and the price - ouch!) But I hoping he will gain interest as he gets older. Overall I highly recommend this set. - Marie

This is s great toy. It uses fine and large muscles. The building can be enjoyed by any ages at many levels making multi age play fun for all and expanding verbal and social interaction.

My 2 year old son plays with this everyday. I've even found him falling asleep with a few of these in his tiny hands. Will be buying more in the future for sure.
