Biohome Ultimate filter media 1Kg (2.2lbs)

Biohome Ultimate arrived today approx midday and I Immediately placed it in my filter. My tank always looks clear and people comment on how vibrant the tank looks. Same day 8 hours later and I can't believe the clarity in my tank. It looks like there is no water and the fish are swimming in mid air. It's too soon to comment on any other benefits but the early signs are that this is a 1st class product. I had sponges , ceramic rings , plastic balls and seachem matrix in my filter. 3 trays with a sponge in each tray. I moved 2 of the sponges and a poly pad to the bottom tray where the water comes into the filter, filled the second tray with all of the Biohome Ultimate and left the Seachem in the top tray. Ditched the plastic balls and ceramic rings. There should be enough bacteria in the sponges, Matrix and gravel. Tank is 75 litre and has never looked better. Buy this.

very well made product and highly advised to buy this filter media if you want good flow of water being filterd i would give it a good wash with fresh water first though before you use it as there is lots of dust that can come from the water media. absolutely great

Has been running in my canister for about a month now. Great media. My water is crystal clear and my nitrates are way down! I think I’ll be sticking with this because my tank water looks great and tests great! Superb media!

This is a fantastic product and a must have in your filteration system. The 3rd party seller really took customer care into consideration. A small note in the package to explain how to use it and a small bag off bacteria filter balls was a wonderful touch. Will buy again. Thanks

Going to use this for a FX6 after watching fish tank Matt channel on YouTube. Which I would suggest you watch as he has many helpful tips and tricks to improve tank care. You will not be able to purchase this item in any shop as it is exclusive. Nice touch with the live bacteria balls. Setting the filter up this week so will update once it matures. Quick service in fact second purchase took 2 days. I will be using supplier again

Used this in my pond filter but I would need a much larger quantity for it to really make an impact. Small amount for the price.

Amazing stuff! Cleared my Nitrate levels to zero after one week. I have nitrate in my tap water so had thought a zero reading impossible but I was gladly wrong. I can’t recommend it enough and will be swapping all my filter media with biohome.

Happy with biohome ultimate and the free bacteria pack and already noticed within 12 hours how much clearer the water is.
