I’m a student teacher and I bought these for my students as a gift on my last day. They loved them. They’re great for guided reading too and were a bargain at £30.

Delivery was a couple of days earlier than expected and the internal package safe and sound. This readers set was just what we needed entering the school summer holiday period. Currently resident away from the UK, our eldest daughter has been learning a second language, and keeping up her English reading with a stack of summer sale readers from her previous school in England, which are now more than familiar to her. The fresh titles, which are diverse in content and themes, and written by a range of authors, is already satisfying ability and interest. With necessary re-reading, the 6 levels will last for some months and beyond. Format-wise, some more variation in end-quiz etc would be beneficial. But otherwise design and concept is sound. As such, this has already proven to be a really great value purchase!

I am a retired headteacher and Ofsted school inspector. My daughter has virtually every reading series there is. Plus school books allocated. As their Nan I needed something graduated when I pick them up after school and hear them reading as they’ve usually read their school books already. These books are outstanding. Great short stories which the 5 year old twins take home and read also in their bedroom. Excellently graduated. A few short questions after the sequencing task would have been the icing on the cake. An excellent purchase

These books are ideal for my grandson who is aged 6. He finds them very funny and really engages in them.

My children absolutely love all these books we even managed to take a few out to gift to other young family members of the holiday season. This is a great value purchase!

Bought this collection for my 7 years old son who wanted to read on his own but still wanted pictures. He absolutely loves these books. They are sorted by level, starting easy and then becoming more challenging. They have short games at the end where you have to sort pictures corresponding to the story that you've just read and he loves that. It makes him very proud of himself. A must have for young readers.
