Makita Superior Quality Beats Others!
Very Happy: Use this for polishing stainless. My favorite feature is the motor speed control keeps the wheel turning at same speed no matter how hard I lean into it! Others fail at this and slow down with loads....

Makita polisher
The polisher is great so far. I like the soft start instead of the instant start of my grinder/ buffer. I also like the adjustable speed settings. Purchased to polish my wheels instead of doing it by hand. Definitely a time saver.

Professional buffer
I’ve gone through sever buffers from cheaper dealers like harbor freight in the past. So tired of trying to save a few dollars and end up buying junk. This buffer is Seriously a professional buffer. I love the variable trigger and soft start. Sure helps keep the buffing gel on the work rather then slung across the room. The speed controlled motor maintains perfect speed no matter how heavy or light the pressure one applies. The motor doesn’t get hot either. The only downside is it’s a bit heavy but quality usually weights a bit more. The backing plate for the buffing wheel could be upgraded a bit to match the quality of the tool.

Excellent tool to polish a granite counter top
This polisher was very easy to set up to re-finish our granite counter top. It was on the heavy side but was very easy to move around the counter top. Using the Pro Stone polishing compound, the counter top looks almost like new. The slow start and variable speed were the best features. My wife was able to bring new life into an older counter top.

Metal polisher
Great polisher! Use it often for metal polishing. Requires an additional spacer to utilize the airway wheels though

Good torque, good speed control with trigger (unlike the ...
This thing takes a beating in the concrete grinding/polishing world (particularly wet grinding) but hasn't given me any trouble in 18 months (I have two). The speed dial hasn't jammed or caked up with grit/gunk (as BOTH Milwaukee cordless polishers have within months of use), and leaves little to be desired. Good torque, good speed control with trigger (unlike the Milwaukee triggers in which you get OFF-SOME ROTATION-FULL TILT within a blonde one of pulling the trigger). Runs well at low speeds, doesn't overheat like my $450 Metabo when run slow. I use them without the plastic cover and without the extra handle attached. Occasionally shocks me when I touch the front metal housing while I'm trailing my power cords through concrete slurry (on my Rac-A-Tac) but I'm not sure of the cause and I could always put the plastic shroud back on when I get time (need the clearance for toe kicks though). If both mine got stolen and they raised the price, I'd still buy two more and carry on.

Great Polisher
Bought it based on several detailers saying it was the best. Speed control, soft start, constant rpm, multiple handle options. Great tool.

Works as it should . Loving that Makita also has a repair centre . We bought this one to replace an older broken one . Sent the broken one in for repair and came back good as new . THAT is a huge perk for tools .
