Power-Pole CM2.0 PRO II Series (White, 8ft)

I can't say enough about these things. Powerpole has come a long way since they first came out. installation was a breeze, had it done in about 2 hours. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but I don't believe you really need that much experience to do the install yourself, as long as you have a basic understanding of DC power and make sure to level everything before drilling. The wireless dash remote is a huge upgrade in my opinion as you don't need to run wires from the pump to the dash. It's also extremely quiet compared to the older models. quite a bit faster too on the higher speed settings. Make sure you buy a good marine grade sealant to put in all the holes you drill.

This is exactly what I wanted for my boat trips! Works great!

Power Pole was a very awesome addition to my boat until it wasn’t. I’ve had this power pole for about 6 months, used it plenty of times and it’s been great. Was easy to install, easy to use, and beats throwing anchor in shallow water. Then one day it broke, it appears that the stainless steel bolt at the top just completely disappeared (backed off the nut and just fell out) and it collapsed on itself damaging the top metal member. After looking at it, already upset with the durability, I noticed the huge plastic piece at the end. Why wouldn’t this be metal like the rest of the unit? Not happy with how this failed and feel like there definitely is a design flaw.

Easy to install and works perfectly!

Holds fine in mud but beware in sand or harder bottom it skips around alot. Couldn't leave it u attended at the lake while we swam at a nearby beach
