Super pleasantly surprised at the efficacy of this. If you set it up right and have a decent vac to plug into it it’s great. Put a diamond wheel onto my 115mm grinder and cut a chase into a concrete kitchen floor and there was barely any dust got airborne. Great purchase.

It works. A bit of a field to set up but it makes the job clean and accurate and fast when cutting masonary to depth for a pipe chase and when chasing out old pointing for replacement. It is plastic so DIY not pro if you need thatbuy a metal one at £100.

This was worth the money. It has saved me and the room being covered in dust. Had to chase out several walls ready for the electrics so this was life saver. When you first use the grinder there is a little dust that flies out but when it’s flush against the wall and the Hoover is attached and on it holds the dust in. The hoover adapter could be better as this kept sliding off at times but you could attached a tie clip to hold it in place. Definitely so pleased I found this item. Such a good idea

Having purchased this for a small home project (cutting down a small section of wall) I can say this item is just a pure waste of time. 1) it took over 30 minutes just to fit it and even this fitting wasn't great (felt very flimsy) 2) dust just poor's out the bottom and doesn't get sucked up - I had better success with just holding the hoover next to be cutting ! 3) you have to move the cover each time if you want a tight cut (against a wall) item got used for less that 5 minutes before it was back in the box ! Item is not fit for purpose AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My sole aim of buying this was convert my grinder into a jigsaw. In this part is great. No complaint here. However, the vacuum part is not that great. I am using a 1600w shopvac. I was trying to cut some osb board but I ended up with the entire body full of chips. I also found out the welding on the retainer part is poorly done which result in it being angled. It does not cause too much trouble but it bugged me as they are not aligned and may cause some confusion when cutting a straight line

OK , I like this tool. I often have to cut old 5/8" thick stucco over lath and wire mesh inside houses.This tool is not perfect however it makes the job just a miserable moderately dusty project. I like the adjustable depth of cut since I often make a first cut about 1/4" deep I made slight modifications to the tool 1) the mounting clamp diameter was not big enough. I replaced of the clamp screws with a longer 8-32 screw. 2) after mounting the diamond wheel I taped over the wrench access hole in the side of the grinder to improve the vacuum. I have as shopvac directly connected to the tool, if I can find an old vacuum cleaner hose I'm going to make that connection permanent. I have noticed that I get better dust pickup when I am pushing the grinder forward than when I am pulling it back. I can see why , it's an airflow thing. One other suggestion , always blow out your grinder to remove dust after using with this appliance. Stucco, drywall and cement dust is very abrasive ,gets in everywhere and kills good tools

Great bit of kit for that price, around 70sqm of pointing run through with it and works really well. Easy to install, Henry hoover attached, thumbs up!

It’s light witch is good The screws for the fitting to the grinder are of soft metal a can be broken off quite easy Also the clip attachment is flimsy

Bought it for my cordless Metabo angle grinder to chase the wall for electrical installation. A bit fiddly to fit as I had to remove the locking device on my machine & original dust hood but does work reasonably well. It is however not compatible with my Fein cordless grinder. If you have a lot of chasing to do, it's a cheap alternative to branded accessories provided it fits your machine. It does come with several plastic & one metal thickness rings ( reducers to go around the neck of the machine). One screw on the hood had to be replaced with a shorter one as it fouled installation. A good value for money item.

Sale bastante polvo al exterior, casi no vale la pena.
