Did not cover the topic I purchased it for!!
Bought this book to overcome a particular challenge I was having with AutoCAD, which I could not adequately understand on AutoCAD Help. Found out that the book refers the reader to the AutoCAD Help pages!! Not helpful. Waste of money and time.

Good book well written

Autocad needs to be separated into different uses. It is way too complicated to be all in one book for dummies. I have designed and built many buildings. I have a house plan I bought which I thought I would modify a little to my own taste, to build for my retirement. It is way to difficult to master for one plan. I should have just drawn it in the old pencil and paper manner. However, the modification I am making is in the pencil method.

Fantastic tool. Has been a few years since i last used AutoCAD and using this book just brought it all back. Perfect.

Bought this book since I am new to the CAD world. It offers good information but is not totally up-to-date with the latest AutoCAD software (they have changed to multiples types of AutoCAD software). Like I said the information is there and it is still useful. It has helped me to get out of certain situations and also learned more in how to use CAD.
