Yardistry 12 x 14 Meridian Cedar Gazebo Pavilion for Patios, Decks, Garden, Backyard, Durable, Aluminum Roof

Ordered this Gazebo to replace a 10x10 aluminum frame and canopy gazebo from Lowes (early wet snowfall took care of that one because the canopy was still up). - First observation - this is not really 10x10 - outside post to post it is 9' 1 7/8". I should have looked at the specs on the manufacturers website and if I did - I would have gone with the 12x12 (which in reality post-to post is 11' 2"). After getting over that smaller footprint shock, I couldn't be more pleased. - Second observation - heavy! Came on a pallet with 3 separate boxes - weighs over 500lbs. UPS delivery guy was kind enough to power dolly it into my back yard near the site of assembly - Third observation - every piece was there! All the hardware and all the wooden parts - no missing items! - Fourth observation - clear instructions and a very helpful online video which I consulted on multiple occasions - Fifth observation - admittedly I am a perfectionist but plan on putting some quality time in on this project. I did this over multiple days but I probably have close to 20 hours in. Not complaining - labor of love and everything from the milling/pre-drilling of the lumber to the hardware fit with exacting specifications - hard to believe when completed that this thing came in a box - well done Yardistry. (Note the final roofing assembly is tricky but with the help of a friend who is a builder - figured out it was easier to mount the two opposing sections directly across from each other rather than the suggestion of the side-by-side sections. In this way they were somewhat self supporting and allowed for fewer people - still need the one in the center supporting the sections until lagged and tightened) Lastly, I didn't care for the natural cedar finish - too light. I stained the Gazebo with a water-based stain per the manufacturer's recommendation (Valspar Canyon Brown - see pics). This took additional time (not counting this in the assembly time mentioned above) and I did each piece of the roof assembly before assembling. Gazebo is sitting on a patio that has pavers and due to the sheer weight of the gazebo, I have not attached the columns to the pavers. I don't see this thing moving any time soon. I am happy to be done with the construction and am looking forward to enjoying the shade it provides.

This gazebo looks great and is very sturdy. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. Except for the roof, I put it together by myself. The roof required 4 peoplel. My only complaint is that I can feel heat radiating down from the roof when the sun is overhead, but I am installing a ceiling and fan to fix this issue.

Absolutely stunning addition to our backyard. Great for hosting the neighbors. Very sturdy cedar wood. We added the beach pebble for a beachy feel. If you have a few people to help install it should take approximately 6-7 hours with a lunch break. Do not try to do it alone. We opened all the boxes and set the pieces up in order making it easier to follow the instructions. We would highly recommend it and are absolutely in love with how it looks!

This was great quality, heavy duty gazebo. Looks very nice in my yard and adds a great focal point design wise. It was very light yellow so had to stain it with behr tug boat. Better if you do it before you put it up. We hired a guy off thumbtack to install it. Get a professional, he did it by himself in under a day. Worth every penny!! There is a serious quality control issue with yardistry gazebo though. The plastic adhesives on the metal roof left glue residue marks all over it. Every single pane. There's no way to clean remove this properly. I contacted yardistry and they offered no compensation for their poor quality. It's a serious issue they seem to be ignoring.

This is a quality gazebo, well thought out using premium materials. It looks good sitting over my hot tub. The gazebo was assembled by two guys (provided by Amazon for about $ 400) in about two days. It took longer because it was cold and windy. All the pieces fit together nicely and it looks very professional. The only somewhat negative feature is that the aluminum roof is rated at 36 pounds per cubic foot, and the instructions advise that you remove accumulated snow. I purchased an extendable roof rake which should take care of this. I am very pleased with this gazebo.

This is a very good product, but it does require more people for portions of the assembly. We used four people for putting up the poles and the 4 strong people on ladders for putting the roof pieces on. All of the other assembly can be completed by a single person. Instructions and all materials were in the package and clearly labeled.

First off boxes are way too big and should be shipped. Received and knew there would be an issue because looked damaged. Sure enough when I finally opened all metal was damaged, numerous “wood” pieces were dented, scratched or broken. More of a headache then anything at this point.
