All Hail Justin and Danielle
Great looking stools. Very sturdy. The low price compared to similar stools you'll find at brick and mortar stores like AtHome is just gravy on the biscuit. Assembly is easy, but do yourself a favor and listen to the review of "Justin and Danielle" that advises you to throw away the Allen wrench and use a ratchet. I didn't heed that advice at first. I thought surely I could put a simple stool together on my own. Without leaning on wisdom from a stranger on the interwebs I couldn't even prove existed. And, the truth is, I did fine on my own. For a while. Then on the third leg I tried to install, I ran into the problem others have talked about. I couldn't fully tighten the screws without starting to strip them. My first reaction was to try and fix it on my own. I figured I'd spend a few bucks on some old fashioned Philips head screws to replace the ones that came with the stools. I made a trip to the hardware store to buy the screws, but they didn't have any that were the right size. I had hit rock bottom. I was ready to give up. Ready to ship back my beautiful 29-inch Winsome Wood Saddle Seat Stools, and go spend almost twice the money to buy an already assembled version from AtHome. Then I remembered a review I had read on the internet before purchasing the stool. A review from "Justin and Danielle" that mentioned the problem was not the screws, but the provided Allen wrench. I was skeptical, but why not throw up one last hail Mary? What did I have to lose? So I made a trip to my toolbox and busted out a ratchet with 4MM hex bit, just as "Justin and Danielle" had suggested. Within minutes, I had completely finished assembly on both stools. What I couldn't do in an hour using my own wisdom was done in minutes once I leaned on the wisdom of "Justin and Danielle". I learned the hard way not to doubt "Justin and Danielle". Don't make the same mistake I did. Trust "Justin and Danielle" right from the start. Go read their review for yourself. Follow their instructions. Take it from someone who has been where you are, following “Justin and Danielle” is a decision you will never regret.

Very well built stool.
The following review summarizes the stools very well. It was extremely helpful with assembling. Let me start off by saying these bar stools look and feel very, VERY nice when they are finished. They are incredibly sturdy and I have no doubt they could survive an extremely long time and hold very heavy weight. As many other reviewers have noted, the assembly is a PAIN... with what they provide you in the box, that is! This is the only reason I did not rate these stools 5/5 stars. Here are some tips on what we did when assembling the stools that made them 1000x easier to put together: 1. Toss the allen wrench they provide you into the trash immediately. Don't even look at it, unless you feel like stripping the screws right off the bat. 2. Have a small ratchet, some wood glue (or normal school glue even), a microfiber cloth and a hammer handy. You will need to attach a 4mm hex bit to the ratchet for the screws they provide you (and yes, you CAN use the screws provided! They are good quality, although we are still unsure why they give you galvanized Tapcon screws intended for outdoor cement work... they're not cheap to produce!) 3. Assemble both the legs like Figure 1 in the instructions before you being to screw in the screws. Make SURE you use the correct pieces of wood in the correct holes (shorter cross piece goes in the lower hole, each side should have a long leg piece with a dot and a leg without a dot at the top) as well as the correct length screws (short, for this part). 4. When screwing in the screws, go slow and steady; do not apply too much force/torque at once or you WILL STRIP THE SCREW! Fortunately, if this happens (and you are not too close to the end) you can unscrew them out and use a replacement screw they provide you. With the ratchet, it is very easy to get the screws in quickly while not stripping them. Do the same process for the long screws for the seat. 5. When you finish assembling the body of the chair (including attaching the seat), choose a side of the stool you want to face the wall (in case you make a mistake on the first couple of cover pegs). Put a small glob of glue on the flat side of the wooden peg and put it in one of the holes on the side of the chair that will face the wall. Press it in as far as you can, then cover the peg with a microfiber cloth. Take the hammer and LIGHTLY tap it in, checking every once in a while to see how far down it's gone. If you hammer too hard or too deep, the peg will go too far in and splinter the wood surrounding it. Use the microfiber cloth to wipe up any excess glue and it won't leave residue on the chair. Hope this helps everyone! I am also attaching a picture of our stools in customer images.

My only complaint: this is the first "used" item I've bought from Amazon -- there were no instructions. If this is normal, I won't be buying anything else 'used'. Fortunately, the stool was fairly easy to assemble using common sense, but this isn't always the case, particularly regarding the best order of assembly. So, no more "used" items for me. The 4 stars for 'Easy to assemble' should perhaps be 5: it was easy, but I had a hard time tightening the seat screws, even using pliers to turn the key. However, the 'acceptable' condition was more than acceptable: like new, except for a small chip & a hardly-noticeable scratch. It's well made & very sturdy, & looks great. It's too big for where I'd planned to use it -- in my tiny kitchen, where I need to sit down frequently. (Foot-spread measurements from all manufacturers would be a good idea?) But I've found another home for it, & am very pleased with it. An excellent product.

Muy buen producto en general, pero recomiendo comprar el cojín en conjunto porque es un poco incomodo. La calidad-precio está bien y me pareció fácil de armar.

Great chairs, one flaw is feet are not even so they wobble.

Easy to assemble comfy and they look good

Definitivamente se nota la calidad, son muy cómodos y se sienten muy resistentes. Además el color está muy padre. Es una pena que estén tan caros, pero no es tan fácil conseguir productos de esta calidad que no sean de importación.
