CWC-7006 7" Plain Round Conversion Headlight - 1 Piece

I wanted to upgrade my GL1000 with a new LED lamp, but the factory is a sealed bulb. This housing made it super easy to upgrade the whole assembly and allows for easy bulb changes in the future. Easy install with no modifications to OE parts. Accepts H4 bulbs which are pretty cheap nowadays. I'm 100% satisfied.

I have been looking to upgrade to H4's from the sealed beam headlights in my 74 super beetle. These did the trick. They fit just perfectly; no issues with the retainer ring. They maintain the classic look which was a must for me. They were far less expensive then "made for" beetle kits. The construction is solid. The light housings have real weight to them. The construction is all metal and glass. I paired these with led H4's and I can see for miles now.

Was very impressed on appearance and how they seem to be made like an original. The fit was good unlike ones I've tried before. Yet have to try them but will soon.

This is a good upgrade from the old sealed beam headlights. I had no issue installing them in a 1968 Chevy C10. It’s pretty much remove and reinstall. The only issue I have is that the lenses are flat and not round like the sealed ones are. You can’t really tell it’s not something that you would see immediately. I did use ultra bright lights instead of LEDs so the charge wouldn’t be too much on an older model truck and I think it looks pretty good. They are a lot brighter than the sealed ones which is always safer at night.

read some reviews and a real head scratcher... the peeps complaining about fitment etc, I can't figure out what that issue is. standard indexing and ring lands.. these ARE glass lenses and the fit was just fine as expected on a 78' C-10.. the light output is different than the old beams but if you are familiar with European H4 style rounds.... then you'll know the light pattern IS different. works great and with 80/90 bulbs, excellent!

These are excellent and have better low beam patter than my old ones did for sure and fitment in the vehicle was no issue either, and thats where the good ends. The High beams with halogen bulbs are absolutely terrible. They throw light in all directions more like a fog light and there is a hole of darkness in the center not good for back road two lane driving. I fixed the issue though by replacing the h4 halogen bulbs with a HID kit from OPT7 for about 60 bucks more and for some reason with the HID kit both low/high beam is excellent. So I give them 3 stars because most people will use them with halogen/xenon bulbs and for that I do not recommend them chose something else, but if you decide to add in an HID kit they are excellent!

I'd imagine this product doesn't usually look like this. It worked great and fit perfectly in my headlight bucket for my 1977 cb750k. Although Beware buying used. Amazon said this was in "very good" condition. Does that look right to you? I bent the retainer brackets back in to shape and fiddled with it to install it properly but this thing honestly looked like it fell off a truck. I think someone pulled a fast-one and returned an item they had used for years and years. The original headlight from 1977 was in better condition than this! The product is great, no complaints there. But what the heck! Used product was 2 dollars cheaper, but looks like it came from a scrap yard.
