AZ-NO3 Nitrate Eliminator 240mL

Great product, works as described. It reduces nitrates from 20 to 5ppm in one week. I follow same instructions on the bottle, even my tank 350L/92gal, so my dosing was less than the recommandation.Didn't get cloudy water at all, maybe because I started dosing slowly and it was less than the recommandation.

This product works as advertised. I have a 110 gallon mixed reef nearly 7 years mature and have utilized this product twice. In both cases, the product worked fantastically without any loss of life, cloudy water or any detriments at all. The major issue that I have seen with adverse affects to this product results from incorrect dosing. It is crucial with this and any products for that matter that you know what your water volume is, including the sumps for accurate dosing and if in doubt, under dosing is better than over. The only reason I gave it for stars if my LFS sells it for $17, where it is nearly twice as high on amazon. Buy Local, Buy small.

I used AZ-NO3 in my 7 month old, 115g saltwater fish tank and saw great results. My nitrate level was at a dangerous 160ppm before I purchased this product. I added the correct amount every night. The bottle says it is a 30 day treatment but one bottle was only good for 2 weeks because my tank is 115g. At first my water got cloudy for a couple days and then cleared up. I had to empty my protein skimmer everyday because this product was working so well. And I am only 2 weeks into the treatment and my nitrates are down to 40ppm. I expect my nitrates to be untraceable by 4 weeks. This is a very good product WITH AN EFFECTIVE PROTEIN SKIMMER. Make sure you have an effective protein skimmer for your tank before you purchase this item or it will do you no good.

I wanted to wait a while before commenting on this product, just to see how things finally worked out. In my case, AZ-NO3 was the perfect answer to a reef tank nitrate problem. Three months after starting the tank with 100% Tampa Bay live rock and sand, all the water parameters were good except for nitrates, which ranged from 20-40 ppm. Because of the live rock, there was a lot of biological activity. So I started this product, following the instructions. Over a month of daily dosing, the readings came down steadily. The very active protein skimmer showed that things were working. When I phased out use, I waited for the nitrates to increase. But it didn't happen. Now, six months after first cycling the tank, I might see a rise to 0.25 if I have new livestock or an unusual amount of activity, but generally nitrates are zero.

I have a 210 gallon reef tank. Nitrates were over 100 and 1 bottle of this stuff got them down to 30! Easy to use. Only made the tank cloudy once. No bad affects on fish, sps, LPS, or softies. Inverts also were fine.

Worked like it was supposed to. However when I got to 32 drop dose my tank became EXTREMELY cloudy so I started reducing the dose and then stopped using it.

I used this solution on my 200G reef tank while in startup (6 Months old). It did bring nitrates down to 20 from 40. It did quadruple the output of my protien skimmer...it almost killed everything in my tank as it clouded everything up...and dropped Oxygen levels for about 12 hours. Thankfully I was ready with an airstone and pump. My big complaint is that after spending over $60 on two bottles and using it for over a month, it only brought down nitrates by 50%...too expensive...not a viable alternative to water changes and Seachem's Prime for the cost/effectiveness/danger.

After years I finally beat nitrates in my fish tank. I have a 55g reef tank. Before AZ-NO3 I ran 20 - 40 ppm nitrates. I used the product as directed. It was easy to use, no muss no fuss. After 16 days my nitrates were 3ppm. Incredible. No ill effects to my livestock except that my Toadstool Leather Mushroom seemed to close up a bit when dosing. So I dosed at night and everyone was happy.
