This really works on plaque and keeping dogs teeth clean. Some people complain the toothbrush doesn't move so it must not be working. Believe me, this toothpaste and the brush work. I have had dogs since 1988 and this is the best for keeping your dog away from vet cleanings via gas which can be dangerous. I had a 7 yr old almost die via gas for a tooth extraction and cleaning which was shocking. I don't blame my Vet, things happen. I don't want to put her under gas again for cleaning so this keeps her teeth clean. I highly recommend.

I got this to use on my dog. It is the proprietary toothpaste for this ultra-sonic toothbrush. I wanted to use a toothbrush that has actually studies at NCBI that validated the efficacy of it. This ultra sonic toothbrush is totally different that any other’Sonic’ toothbrush. It doesn’t vibrate or make any sounds that freaks out dogs( or cats). It is from Germany and pet grooming salons are offering tooth brushing packages with the Emmi-Pet at 5 sessions for $100. I prefer this to the risks associated with the general anesthesia used to cleans pets’ teeth. I think it’s worth the cost. I do recommend this toothpaste & toothbrush!

This goes great with the Emmident or Emmipet toothbrush. It significantly prolongs the times between dental cleaning at vet. My 2 dogs like it and it is part of our nightly bedtime routine.

I just started using the emmi-pet toothbrush and toothpaste for my two chihuahuas. They love the taste of the toothpaste and try to lick it the entire time that I am brushing. I bought this setup because the last time I had one tooth cleaning the cost was $1200 for one dog. So we are doing it ourselves! I am very pleased with both products.

Esta bien pero lo uso con la máquina de ultrasonidos para quitar el sarro que es lo que verdaderamente hace efecto para continuar una vez quitado todo el sarro y realizar un mantenimiento solo con la pasta tb está bien

Mein 13-jähriger Labrador-Mix, bei uns nur liebevoll „Opa Blacky“ genannt, hat in seinem langen Leben schon so einiges weggeatmet. Leider war sein eigener Atem in letzter Zeit so durchschlagend, dass ich beim morgendlichen Kuscheln kurzzeitig überlegte, mir eine Gasmaske zuzulegen. Da Blacky mit 13 Jahren aber keine Lust mehr auf Zahnarzt-Drama unter Vollnarkose hat, haben wir zur Emmi-Pet gegriffen. Die „Blacky-Zustimmung“: Normalerweise ist Blacky sehr misstrauisch, wenn ich mit Dingen anrücke, die nach „Hygiene“ aussehen. Aber diese Zahncreme scheint für ihn eher in die Kategorie „Exquisites Dessert“ zu fallen. Sobald er die Tube sieht, wird er für seine 13 Jahre erstaunlich agil – er hält das Ganze wohl für eine Art Streichwurst mit medizinischem Mehrwert. Die Wirkung: 1. Der Geruchskiller: Leute, es ist ein Segen! Der berüchtigte „Sumpf-Aroma-Atem“, der bisher kleine Fliegen im Flug betäubt hat, ist Geschichte. Blacky kann jetzt wieder ganz nah ranrücken und mir sein Herz (und seinen Atem) ausschütten, ohne dass ich die Fenster aufreißen muss. 2. Sanfte Reinigung: Blacky hasst Schrubben. Da diese Creme aber im Team mit Ultraschall arbeitet, müssen wir nur sanft „auflegen“. Das ist perfekt für seine alten Beißerchen und sein Zahnfleisch, das mit 13 ja auch nicht mehr alles mitmacht. 3. Zahnstein-Adieu: Wir merken richtig, wie der Belag nach und nach weniger wird. Er sieht im Maul wieder fast so aus wie ein junger Hüpfer – naja, zumindest was die Zähne angeht. Fazit: Die Tube ist zwar teurer als meine eigene Zahnpasta, aber für Opa Blacky ist mir nichts zu schade. Es ist die stressfreiste Art, das Gebiss eines Seniors in Schuss zu halten. Wir sparen uns den Stress beim Tierarzt und ich spare mir das Riechsalz beim Schmusen. Pro: • Blacky liebt den Geschmack (kein Ringkampf im Wohnzimmer!). • Endlich wieder „Atemschutz-freies“ Kuscheln möglich. • Ideal für Senioren, die keine Narkose mehr vertragen. Contra: • Blacky erwartet jetzt nach jeder „Zahn-Wellness“ ein offizielles Trinkgeld in Form von Leckerlis. Wer seinen alten Haudegen liebt und wieder ohne Tränen in den Augen schmusen will: Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
