NT-1228BC Bluetooth CCD Barcode Scanner

I initially ordered this scanner to make my own custom POS system. Initially, I connected through Bluetooth and it was recognised as a plug and play device. It was essentially a wireless keyboard which scans text, types it very fast and adds a ‘return’ key at the end. I was amazed to go to the support website and find tons of different ways to program this scanner and the most important one to me was that it supported Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). With this, I could connect directly to the app I was developing and send data back and forth from the barcode. One thing I’d like to see improved is a way to send and receive silent messages. Right now, I can request the scanner’s battery level by sending a code to the scanner but this trigger’s the scanner’s beep just like as if it was physically scanned. Of course, you could disable the beeper all together but that’s not what I want. I’d like to send and receive the battery messages silently and keep everything else audible. Still giving 5 stars but I’d like to see an improvement where specific messages can be silent

Connects over Bluetooth to my iPhone and lets me scan barcodes directly into the inventory app I use for work. Comes with a booklet of barcodes you scan to change settings on the scanner, you will need to give it a flick through to find the right one for your use case. But after that it’s so quick and easy to use!! 😁

I purchased this scanner to be able to be wire free and to reliably read Barcodes of various qualities, To me this model has so far, been able to complete this function. Another need was to be able to reliably scan the barcodes on long stockist sheets and again this model achieves this. What it cant do is scan QR Codes. What is also good is the fact that you can interface with a Mac/ PC/ iPad using Bluetooth/Cable/Wireless. Another good thing with this scanner is that the battery will last for a large number between Charges. All in all a great value basic Barcode Scanner.

Nice and simple to use, just plug in the dongle and get scanning your library. You will need a programme that can take the input. Nice a quick scans.

This works flawlessly with a sumup POS lite. Battery lasts a long time between charges and it reads the barcodes nice and quickly. Very easy to use and setup using the supplied book of mode barcodes. Nice size too, fits in the hand well.

Brilliant

This is not a tool for those who are not tech savvy. The user's manual is complicated and I found myself unable to understand how to use the scanner despite reading it through and following the steps to the best of my ability. Turning to Youtube didn't help matters either so now I have a big blue paperweight and just used the scanner on the Libib app through my phone.

This product is simple to use and comes with an informative instruction manual. The product itself operates by scanning barcodes ( from a card included in your purchase) that it then registers and changes its behaviour. For example you can scan a barcode that will then tell the device to start looking for Bluetooth connections! I have had this for a few months and it works great. Would recommend.

I always wanted one of these. Once you use it you're hooked. I made my own bar codes so doing inventory was simple. No need to type out long items and risk making mistakes. It works extremely well, easy to use, scans predictably, reads printed bar codes and if it's too noisy there is a bar code to scan to reduce the noise level or mute. I used it corded and blue tooth. No issues.

It works as advertised. Connect to any device via Bluetooth. Good for inventory tracking.

Pour un projet de développement web lié à la gestion de stocks, j'avais besoin d'un scanner de codes-barres fiable et facile à intégrer. J'ai opté pour le NT-1228BC Bluetooth CCD, et je suis heureux de dire que c'était un excellent choix. Ce qui m'a d'abord frappé, c'est sa compatibilité. Que ce soit sur mon Mac, ou sur des systèmes Linux comme Ubuntu et Debian, le scanner a été reconnu sans aucun problème. C'est un soulagement énorme, surtout quand on travaille sur différents systèmes. L'efficacité du scanner est également à noter. Il lit les codes à barres 1D sans effort et avec une grande précision, ce qui est essentiel pour mon travail. La connexion sans fil est stable et rapide, ce qui facilite grandement les opérations de scan en continu. En bref, le NT-1228BC est un super produit. Il répond parfaitement aux besoins de mon projet de gestion de stocks et sa facilité d'utilisation est un vrai plus. Pour ceux qui cherchent un scanner de codes-barres polyvalent et fiable, je le recommande vivement.

This scanner is so practical. I got the version without the qr code scanning, because I will not be needing that. I use it mostly to scan my books for my online library and other work related stuff. It is really nice. It comes with a little booklet of commands to scan to make the installation and configuration easy. Can only recommend!
