My original Bose AE2 cord was totally fried! I plugged it into a new MP3 player and the voices didnt come through anymore. Only the background instruments. So i needed a new cord. I was worried considering how old the AE2 headphones are now. But this cord was easy to find and affordable. It feels slightly different when you plug it into the headphone part. It kinda feels like you have to push it in harder. You dont. Dont do that. It fits, It stays in place, It works. Cord itself feels nice too, good thickness, and its not braided which is good. It sounds good. I can't compare it to the original out of box experience because that was a really long time ago, but this sounds great to me. No crackling, no scraping or swishing. Nice clear sound. Really happy.

It fits well and is honestly a super nice chord... however the straight headphone jack is not optimal for a phone. its too easy to get enough leverage to bend the end out of shape (while ruining the inside of your headphone jack). I prefeer the angled connectors for the longevity of my device. Really wish they made an angled one. It is very nice otherwise.

I was hesitant at first to order this item, as there were no reviews and no rating, but I a so glad I did! I own a pair of Bose AE2 headphones and the replacement chord I had been using (ordered through Bose) stopped working for one ear. I use the headphones daily and hate using my others (skull candy on-ear and the horrid Apple EarPods that came with my phone) so I wanted the replacement quick. Ordering a replacement cord from Bose is only $6.99 plus shipping, but like I said, I wanted them fast and paying for their expedited shipping I wouldn't have minded except that it was still 5-8 days. Since I have an Amazon Prime account, I figured I'd look for something I could get in two days for about the same price, or even cheaper (you can order the Bose cord through Amazon as well, but it does not qualify for Prime.) This replacement cord from Geekria fit that expectation- it fits perfectly, it has the nice long length like the original, and I am thrilled to already be back to enjoying my amazing headphones! This cord fits my Bose AE2 as advertised. While I had no issues for about 7 months of regular use, the connection point at the ear cup has failed and the left side no longer works. If you're looking for a good quality replacement cord, look elsewhere.

About a year ago, my Bose AE2 headphones died. I threw them away and bought a cheap, horrible replacement pair before realizing the cord could be replaced... I fished them out of the trash and kept them until my cheap pair died (as I myself am cheap) a couple weeks ago and I finally bought this cord. I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit because I didn't know for sure what model my headphones where, but I luckily assumed correctly! As far as I could tell through my research, Bose doesn't make any other headphones with a similar rubber thing around the jack besides the ones that this cord works for, so if this looks like yours, it probably will work. Also, I bought this twice (somehow managed to suck the first one in the vacuum 5 days after getting it) and the second one came with a little clip, whereas the first one didn't. So I guess I have that now, even though I don't know what to do with it. It also comes with a gold quarter inch adapter, which is especially nice for me as a musician because I can use that for my studio headphones. A shinier upgrade from the boring black one that came with those. Hooray.

Wenn man auf das Mikrofon vom Originalkabel verzichten kann bekommen man ein super Ersatzkabel. Wirkt sehr hochwertig und ich bemerke keinen negativen Einfluss auf die Tonqualität.
