Advantus Proximity Card Vertical Badge Holders, 3 3/8" H x 2 3/8" W, Clear, Pack of 50

I bought these to use as tags on storage items. They are perfect for the job. The vinyl is thick, clear, flexible, and heavy-duty. They look and feel like they will stand up to reasonable abuse for a long time. They are large enough to use labels with large, easy-to-read print containing full descriptions of the contents. And they're dirt cheap (assuming no price increases), but only in price. The quality is outstanding. One reviewer downgraded their rating because the packages only contained 49 badges instead of the advertised 50. I didn't count mine but considering the low price vs high quality, it's still a bargain.

These badge holders are good quality! Items slip into the holder through the 'short' end. There is an oval shaped hole punched through BOTH layers of vinyl which allows you to attach a luggage tag or traditional badge clip. I purposefully choose this style because once you attach the luggage tag loop or badge clip the item/s inside the badge holder can not fall out of the badge holder pouch. The badge holders arrived in a timely manner and the quality is more than satisfactory. I bought these badge holders along with 'plastic luggage tag loops' multi-color mix, for a craft project. I needed to come up with a craft idea for the preschool age children at our church for Father's Day. I thought this would work out well. Each child will decorate a cardstock 'tag' with markers, crayons and stickers. The 'tag' will be slipped into the badge holder and then the luggage tag loop will be added. This will make a nice Father's Day gift for each child to give to their Dad or someone else special. 'Dads' can use these homemade tags on a briefcase, suitcase, or even as a bookmark if desired.

These badges do their job, there is really nothing to complain about. some key things about the product: - the vinyl that is used it not cheap and thin, but has a good thickness to it. - the opening to insert whatever sleeve inside is at the very top of the badge. think about a ziplock bag, same concept. - once you hook a lanyard to the badge, you won't be able to remove the insert unless to take off the lanyard, this is because the opening is at the very top, you pull the lanyard hook through holes punched on both sides of the vinyl, in a way, locking whatever is inside. - it fits 2 3/8 x 3 3/8 fine, but also can fit something a little longer in height but not width. overall good product and good price

these work great. i once stepped on my name badge while engaging in some office sports and my neckband that holds this broke, not the plastic. i chose this design because there is no way for your badge to fall out unless your clip is undone and the holder is also turned upside down. much more secure than other styles, imo. also, it protects the entire badge, meaning you can put it in your pocket and not worry about your photo rubbing off or something.

I usually buy these at my office building but they are ~$1.50 and when I checked last week they didn't have the flexible plastic ones with the opening for a lanyard clip - they were designed to clip directly onto your clothing. I didn't want that. They are flexible plastic so they won't last forever. For $0.20 each, that's ok. This pack will last me until I retire. Note this: the holder is designed so when you put it on the lanyard or chain, you can't easily take the card out. this is because the slot for the lanyard is on both pieces of plastic forming the holder - so you have to remove it from the lanyard. Since I take my cards out daily, this was a problem. Easily solved - I cut off the very top of one side and put the lanyard through the slot on the other side. For 13% of the price, the 2 seconds it takes is well worth it.

They were cheap for what I needed them for, but I had to take a knife to about 25% of them to cut the opening. Where the wholes are punched they were sealed together there. So needless to say stuffing a hundred of those wasn't fun when I had to cut a bunch of them and ended up messing them up in the process.

I'm a nurse in the Air Force and I have to use my government ID card to log on to the computer system. This means I need to carry my ID at all times. With a little tweaking I was able to attach this to my hospital ID badge so I have access to my ID at all times without worry of losing it. I have found the covers to be quite durable as I insert and removed my badge at least 5 times a day. Mind you, they aren't bulletproof but they are the most durable badge cover I've ever used. I passed them out at work and everyone agrees. So far it's been three months and I am still using the same plastic sleeve. Great product.

We needed badges for our employees and these are excellent. They are just the right size. The only trick to using these is getting the badge just the right size. These are made of very heavy plastic and very durable. I used glossy photo paper and Metal Badge Clips with Clear Vinyl Straps (100 per Pack) (also available on Amazon)and the badges came out great. I found this option to be much cheaper than our local Office Depot and Staples. I would most definitely buy these again.
