I purchased this gear to start a podcast on a very niche topic I know entirely too much about because my friends are sick of hearing me talk about it. The functionality is everything I expected. The sound quality is excellent for a USB mic and fulfilled all expectations. It lacks flashing RGB and has a nice, long, swing arm so I can keep it out of my field of vision and not constantly be reminded of it's existence. I did not start the podcast after all, but hey maybe some day.

I've been using the SUDOTACK USB Streaming Podcast PC Microphone for the past 3 weeks, and I must say, I am absolutely thrilled with its performance! As an avid podcaster, I'm always on the lookout for affordable yet high-quality microphones, and this one has exceeded my expectations. First off, the sound quality is truly excellent. I've been able to record my podcasts with 192kHz/24Bit sample rate, resulting in crystal clear audio that leaves my listeners impressed. The wide frequency response (30 Hz to 16kHz) means that my voice is captured with great fidelity, and the high-resolution audio is a real treat for the ears. The cardioid pickup pattern is a game-changer. It focuses on capturing sound sources directly in front of the microphone, significantly reducing any unwanted background noise. This has made a huge difference in the clarity and professionalism of my recordings. Setting up the SUDOTACK microphone was a breeze. It's a simple plug-and-play USB device that works flawlessly with both my Mac and PC without requiring any drivers. It's even compatible with mobile phones, although you'll need an adapter (not included). The included noise elimination accessories are a fantastic bonus. The microphone stand, shock mount, table clamp, anti-wind foam cap, USB A to B cable, and pop filter all help to minimize noise from vibrations and plosives, ensuring my recordings are as clean as possible. This microphone is a great beginning microphone, as it is pretty cheap but does its job very well. The microphone itself sounds clear (I had to change a setting to allow it to use the 192KHZ, as it defaulted to 44KHZ) and is good at avoiding "popping" sounds thanks to the windscreen and cover. It was super simple to setup, pretty much plug-and-play, from out of the box to being used within 10 minutes. The stand is pretty solid, made mostly of metal. The clamp and arm all seem to hold together well, and the springs have not sagged in the month or so that they have suspended the mic. I wish the screws were a little better, as some (especially in the boom arm) tend to loosen after adjusting. The screw that connects the mic holder to the arm is also a screw, which is unfortunate as it hangs loose on the screw and wiggles when the arm is rotated. A ball and socket may have been better, but the screw is at least still holding.

This mic accurately captures the full range of vocals, once it's set up correctly. Sounds great for DAW recording also.

This is a good price and it's as good as you make it exactly that extention you want for a quick busy day.

Firstly, I bought this mic in 2020 and I've been using it on and off since. You honestly cannot beat the quality at this price. It may not be a name brand mic, but damn does it sound like one! I use it specifically for streaming on twitch nowadays and I'm SO happy with the voice quality.

This mic isn’t going to give you professional studio sound, but it does the job well enough for casual streaming, gaming, or calls. The kit comes with useful accessories like the boom arm and pop filter, which help improve the setup. If you want crystal-clear audio, you might want to invest more, but for the price, it’s a solid starter option.

O microfone é profissional. Meu computador é amador perto dele. Vou verificar a placa de som, pois não estou usando todo o potencial do microfone. Recomendo.

sounds like an expensive mic, plug and play so it’s easy to setup, the only issues are the joints and the vice it uses to hold onto your desk, a bit flimsy and don’t hold for long periods. other than that it’s an incredible beginner mic! definitely pick it up for quality on a budget
