I've always had fine hair, but it became even finer and sparser after having kids (and aging). I love these little hair bun pieces! They allow me to look like I have a nice sized bundle of hair when I tied it up. And they are so easy to use, especially with very fine hair. The ones with clips damage my hair, are super uncomfortable, and just plain fall out (you must need super thick hair for them, but if so why do you need them in the first place?). How I apply: First I put my hair up using a long barette/hair clip, doubling it over into a bun. Then I put the scruncie over top of the outside of the barette. I don't have to double it up--it's the perfect size to stay tight on top of the barette. You need to use to use a long one for this purpose. I just wish you could get something in this elastic style in the shape of a full ponytail, or at least with longer bun hair. I love them! Also the hair is nice and soft and looks real. I buy a new one every few months to keep it looking nice. For the price, it is affordable.

OMG. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS THING. I have purchased others in the past from a different company, but they didn't have the soft texture or beautiful colors that this one does...I have already ordered another one - same color. All my life I wanted different colors in my hair, and this gives me exactly what I want in colors. When I first opened it, I thought it would be too dark, and it has some strawberry blonde in it, with darker blonde, and then these beautifully placed very light blonde highlights. FYI, I am a natural "dirty" blonde and have highlights in my hair from hair "experts" that turned my hair color into streaks of brassy gold over dirty blonde. Also, the hard water in the shower turned some of those colors in to a dull copper brassy hue. When I saw the strawberry colors in this hair piece, I figured I would need to return it. NOPE. Everything blends like magic. I love the hint of strawberry blonde in it so much that I am looking for a few streaks to clip in my hair on the sides just for the sheer beauty of the colors. Oh, YES. It is a messy, sexy look. If you don't fall in love with it, I'll eat my hat. You probably could tone down the sexy side with hair spray, but I would rather be sexy. I bet any of the blonde colors would blend with what ever streaks of blonde you have in your hair. My mother didn't even notice that it wasn't my hair.

This scrunchie matches my hair pretty well. It is a darker reddish brown, not too bright in color. Mine appears completely straight, the hair I measured in a couple of places 5-5.5 inches long. It is not as full as the Katie scrunchie I reviewed, but I think that one is about 7 inches. This one maybe would be better in extremely hot weather for me, or good for those not needing quite that much fullness since it is not as big or heavy. I actually prefer the color of this one & wish they had more styles. But this one is longer & much better quality than smaller, cheaper more artificial looking ones I have seen. I sometimes like to wear scrunchies on top of my head instead of my hair pieces to help cover thinning places on top & toward the front. Since I have long hair, I do not wear a ponytail to put these around. I like to twist my long hair together, maybe use a clip to secure it on top of my head, blend the ends with the scrunchie, using a small plastic tortoise-shell clip (reddish brown) on each side of the scrunchie to keep it in place. This is much cooler than my long hair on my neck, especially at work. This is a perfect hard to find color in scrunchies, a beautiful more natural true red shade, unlike companies selling a color #33 auburn which is actually brown (buyer beware). I also bought 118, which is a pretty color, but it is too bright of a red for me right now. I am thinking of trying to wear 2 for added fullness, like I have read of some doing in other scrunchie reviews. This "messy bun" hair scrunchie is just beautiful. It's very full, much fuller than the ones I've been paying over twice as much for from the shopping networks. And it matches my outgrowth. A few months ago I decided to stop coloring my hair. Because of matching the color of my roots, these have made the transition from dark brown to grey much easier. I pull my hair up into a ponytail and wrap it around itself, forming a little bun. Then I wrap this scrunchie around the "hair nub" twice, finally securing it with a large bobby pin or 2, if necessary that day. These are not curly and I feel, pretty natural looking. Many of us girls like a little help from time to time, and I'll take the help any way I can get it. I love the way it looks, they are so easy to use and I haven't had a bad hair day since I started using them.

I really liked the size and fullness of this piece. I have several similar ones from other companies that I use every day. It is soooooo easy to put your hair in a loop pony and just put this around it. Gives a great full looking "messy bun". Packaging was fine and shipping was super fast. No complaints except that the color wasn't exactly like the picture showed. My hair is a true brown and this "brown" that I received had some red highlights. It was also a little shiny. I could probably order 3 or 4 of them to find the correct color I need and then return the rest, but it is such a hassle to return, I would much rather have a close up picture of each color instead of little, tiny pictures. It is very difficult to get the right color on the first try. For the price though, it will probably be worth the trouble to order a few different colors to find the one that is right for you. mit dem Gummiband mit Kunsthaaren, die sehr natürliche aussehen(allerdings sich nicht so anfühlen), kann ich meine eigenen langen Haare mit einem Gummiband zu einem Knödel hochstecken und dieses Ding als eine Art Kranz drumherumlegen und kurz zurechtbürsten.

El color se ajusta a la perfección. Es un coletero de buena calidad y no hay diferencia a la vista con el cabello natural. Aconsejo al proveedor facilitar más fotos sobre los tonos,porque resulta dificil la elección,sobre todo en marrones y cobrizos. El tono que he elegido equivale aproximadamente a un 7.4 en tinte,con base castańo pero subtono cobrizo(sería algo así como un pelirrojo de base oscura,para entendernos). Lo he recibido en un día y si tuviese que comprarlo de nuevo no lo dudaría. Un look perfecto para moños y recogidos,con un aumento de volumen sin exageraciones. Lo recomiendo.
