Silkies Are Pets! This was informative for all of us new to chickens and this specific breed. Silkies are your best friend with a few simple needs. This book gives you some basic ideas and needs of the Silkie and some important information on those differences from other Chickens. There are some interesting colors and basics to learn and make the care easy.

This book was so helpful in giving me the basics I need to know about raising and caring for Silkies. I read it cover to cover before picking up my first silkies. Thank you!

Very disappointing for someone looking for detail and wanting more than a very brief overview. Little detail on colours, genetics or breeding to the standard of perfection. Unless you want a very basic introduction to silkies then don't waste your money.

Great little book i learnt things that i never knew

Has good information on Silkies...but some of it is incorrect. It is still worth the read if you are raising Silkies. Not quite as extensive as I had hoped, but for the price, I have No complaints.

I found this book to be very informative and it answered all my questions. I keep chickens and would like to keep some silkies but first needed to know more about this breed. Good value for money and packed with sufficient detail to make sure you are confident about keeping them. If I wanted to be picky about the book then maybe a few colour pics but thinking about it I did buy it for the info and as far as I am concerned that is excellent. Highly recommended.
