Made with an unlined European leather cover, this wrap journal is a beautiful way to keep meeting notes, travel diaries, or a daily journal. A rugged yet refined leather, our Rustico collection features a full body and heavy shrunken grain. This collection is tanned in Italy in small batches from full grain Buffalo shoulders. Made to highlight the gorgeous character of full grain leather, Rustico leathers get their grain texture through a natural tumbling process which allows the leather to develop unique lines and grain depth. It is also vegetable-tanned and aniline dyed, which is the most natural method of adding color to leather, and one that leaves the natural leather surface and all its original markings completely visible.
