Amazing
It's been not even a couple of weeks since using this sleeve so take this for what I can attest to so far. I am not sure what is wrong with my knee, (maybe just age, and don't have any option for affordable insurance) but have had some pretty severe pain the inside of me knee that at times kept me from walking without dragging my leg like my knee popped out of place or something. Pretty painful. So I have tried quite a few "knee braces" by Ace, Mueller, different styles, you know, the typical Walmart or Walgreen's selection and every one of them made my leg swell if I wore them for any reasonable length of time. They all were "thickish" material and felt substantial. But wearing them, though secure feeling, was not comfortable to just wear all day. They were like something just grabbing my leg to hold it all together. A good first step, but big downsides for me with the swelling. I was looking at this one and said I'm done with the swelling because that just won't work, and needed "something". I read the reviews and not easily swayed, I figured I would give it a go. Guess what? For me this was instantly amazing. Soothing, more effective than any other, pain was miraculously diminished, AND I could wear it all day, all night with NO swelling. It is so thin, and comfortable and it fits under any pants and you just forget about it. For something so thin and comfortable you would think, how could this be doing anything? I have been wearing it ever since with great benefit. I forgot to put it on before work one day and my knee was really bothering me. I took a break and went home for lunch and to get my CopperJoint sleeve. Slipped it on and never even thought about me knee for the rest of the day! Don't know about the "copper" thing, or the chemical compound and amount it supposedly has. However, I'll take it because it just works! Period. I don't take to easy to writing reviews, because most products oversell themselves and you usually have to take it all like exaggeration, but I was actually compelled to write this review because the product actually does what it says. Pretty interesting, right? I am sure "sizing" is important so check the charts and do the best you can. Mine is a small but still a bit tight around the "bands" for a small thin person, but again, I am experiencing no swelling and it just feels good. I am tempted to try the medium and thought of exchanging it out, but I am happy so far and don't want to mess with the success I have had with this CopperJoint compression sleeve. We are all different, and may experience something different based on the condition, but I would wholeheartedly say "just try it". You may be just as pleasantly surprised as me if you have knee pain or trying to heal an injury. If I can hang in there less than one more year Medicare can kick in for me and I can be properly diagnosed as to what is going on with my knee. With discovering this sleeve I believe I can make it that far!

It really helped!
I bought this brace because I messed up my knee when I passed out from illness not too long ago. My knee has been aching ever since and the doctors couldn't find anything medically wrong with it (nothing broken or torn). Being on my feet for 8+ hours a day in my retail job, I needed something to help as it was starting to wear on me. Going up the stairs was painful. Standing up after sitting down was painful. Putting my leg into bed and leaning on it to get in was painful. I knew something needed to help support my knee. At first, I tried one of those cheap $10 ACE braces, but it didn't do much to help. On top of that, even their biggest size was too small for me and would cut off my circulation about an hour into wearing it leaving deep pressure lines on my skin. I didn't want to go full on "Stone Cold Steve Austin" / "I just tore my ACL and want to still play football" $100 braces. So I settled on this after a suggestion from a friend. At $30, I hoped it would do something to help. And it did. The sizing was spot on for me. No lines digging into my legs because its too small. It also didn't keep falling down like other braces (at least not at first) due to the inclusion of a rubbery material near the edges on the inside. It didn't bother me to wear it all day like the other braces I tried (I even accidentally wore it to bed a few times without remembering it was on). And it helped me get through the day. Stairs became significantly less painful to walk up. Standing for hours wasn't a problem anymore. I could even jog on the treadmill again at the gym for a while without much pain. My only problems with this come after using it for several months. The rubbery material on the inside designed to keep the sleeve from rolling down is starting to crack and wear off, resulting in it slipping down a little from time to time. But not nearly as bad as the other braces I tried. Also the logo on the sleeve is wearing off because its screen-printed on and the little yellow flakes keep getting on my pants and showing up in random spots. Other than those very minor problems, I very much like it and find it very helpful.

Good knee sleeve.
Really helps control the swelling and pain on a severely injured knee. Been wearing one daily for 1.5 years since the injury and surgeries.

Actually, Comfortable Knee Sleeves!!!
I've had many knee sleeves over the last 10 years after a Right Meniscectomy and then tore my left meniscus rehabbing the right. I've been wearing these over the last 24 hours and oddly my knees have less pain already. I actually slept in them, as I do have knee pain at night; that speaks to the fit, comfort and support, obviously. I could never have slept in any of the other sleeves I've tried nor, warn them for long periods of time either due to being bulky, uncomfortable. Do be aware if you buy and wear the pair, sometimes one knee is a bit larger than the other normally and from arthritis, along with everyday wear and tear and they will likely feel slightly different, but nothing is wrong: it's your knees, not the sleeves. Not enough support, rolls down. It’s a DO NOT BUY recommendation!
First you have to realize that this is a Tommy Copper clone. It is not manufactured nor sold by Tommy Copper, and to avoid a lawsuit, they just use the Copper word in their product. Had trouble with both knees so I decided to evaluate and write about its pros and cans. Unfortunately, many cons and no pros! I put one on each of my knees, (yes, two) and gave them them a real world test. Results, TEST FAILED! Why you may ask and I’ll tell you. What do you want in two compression knee sleeves. First and foremost, you want total support to hold the knee to prevent unwanted hurtful movements. Test, fail! They do not go from the top of the knee down the leg far enough. Second, you expect the compression to remain strong and hold the knees. Test, fail! I wore them for two weeks and found that they unroll themselves just rolling up a sock. The knew part rolls down and does not remain where it’s supposed to. As you walk, it slides down until you have no compression in the knee at all. All the compression winds up on your calf. I purposely ordered medium thinking small might be too tight and might actually cut off circulation. So I’m going to return these and look for another brand where the word support really means some. My recommendation, this is a DO NOT BUY! Sorry copper, I tell it like it is! Don’t want other Amazon customers making the same mistake!
