Happy with the Bedrug Classic Bed Liner for my 2016 F-150
I recently pulled the trigger on the Bedrug Classic Bed Liner for my 2016 Ford F-150 (5'7" bed), and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the result. If you’re on the fence about whether a "carpet" liner belongs in a truck, let me tell you—it absolutely does. Preparation is Key I’m a "measure twice, cut once" kind of person, so I spent quite a bit of time watching numerous YouTube videos before the box even arrived. I wanted to make sure I got the installation right the first time without any "oops" moments. Seeing how others handled the tucking and the Velcro placement gave me a lot of confidence going in. The Install: Wrinkles & Workarounds Out of the box, the liner does go in looking a little wrinkled from being folded in the packaging. Don't let that discourage you! Here is a pro-tip I discovered: mounting my tie-downs directly over the Bedrug seemed to help greatly. It pulled the material taut against the sides and really helped flatten out those initial waves. The One "Oops" Moment In my excitement to get it all zipped up and centered, I completely forgot about the tailgate light button. I had already finished the install when I realized I’d covered it right up! I had to go back in and carefully cut out a small opening to access it. Even though it was a post-install "surgery," it actually doesn't look bad at all—the material is very forgiving. Why I Love It Aesthetic Appeal: Everyone I’ve shown it to absolutely loves the look. it gives the bed a high-end, finished feel. Comfort: The biggest selling point is the texture. It is incredibly soft on the elbows and knees, which is a life-saver when you're crawling around in the back to grab gear. Durability: Despite the soft feel, it feels rugged enough to handle whatever I throw at it. Final Verdict If you want a liner that looks great and saves your joints during loading/unloading, this is the one. Just remember to check for your buttons before you finish the Velcro!

GOOD QUALITY
This Bedrug liner fit my pickup just right. Everything takes longer to install than they say, or than you think it will. I took my time installing this, took the advice of one of the reviews to obtain some very good quality hook and loop (I used the Amazon VELCRO heavy duty) in advance of the install in case it was needed. It was needed! It probably took me about 3 hours to install, taking my time to get it right. Extra VELCRO was used at the bulkhead of the pickup as my Bedrug arrived without any Velcro strips sewn in as there was supposed to be. I used a little more added Velcro around the tailgate and on the tailgate itself. I watched a couple of different YouTube videos on the install and followed the one that zipped the two parts together while in the bed of the pickup. That worked well for me. That allowed me to make sure the fit was going to be correct. It's tedious to remove the tie downs and cargo brackets and reinstall. I followed the advice to put the screws back in the tie down holes and press against the back of the Bedrug to leave a mark, then quickly cut a tiny X at that location. I put a tonneau cover on about a week after this install and had to pull out the Bedrug from the bulkhead of the pickup bed to access the drain holes at the bottom of the bulkhead. If I had the tonneau on first it would have been a much more difficult installation due to a retraceable tonneau cover canister in the way. Ideally do them at the same time, or at least take the drain access into consideration when installing the Bedrug. The good news is that with Velcro attachments it's easy enough to pull out from the pickup wall and get it put back together. My Bedrug has not been wet so I don't have the experience of it drying. It is made with a rubbery backing like the life jackets that were mentioned. The padded bed is very nice on the knees. It truly is like a trunk liner in your pickup bed, but likely more durable and water resistant. I researched both the spray in liner and the Bedrug and, for my purposes, I decided on the Bedrug since I mainly haul camping related items, a bicycle or stuff I don't want sliding around getting damaged by the rough surface of a spray in liner. Your needs may be different. Would definitely buy again.

Almost Perfect – Great Fit, Great Look, But the Smell…
Overall, I’m really impressed with the Bedrug Classic Bed Liner for my 2023 F-150. The fit is spot-on — snug, clean lines, and it molds perfectly to the bed contours. It looks fantastic and feels super durable, with just enough cushion to protect cargo and my knees when I’m climbing in and out. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long at all. It also really helps with sound dampening and gives the truck a more finished, premium look. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do. That said… the smell. Right out of the box, it had a strong chemical/rubber odor that stuck around for longer than I would’ve liked. I aired it out for a couple days before installing it, but even after that, the smell lingered for a couple of weeks. Once that smell was gone, a new smell showed up. I believe it is from retaining water - I have a bed cover, but it still seems to get too wet and retains that moisture. I have pressure washed it, vacuumed it, and taken great care of it but the smell is almost too much. So much so that I am considering having a spray in liner done instead. If it weren’t for the odor, this would be a solid 5-star product. Still a great upgrade for any F-150 owner — just be ready to let it breathe a bit before use.

Great Bed Rug for my Ford F150 Raptor
Perfect Fit and Comfort – A Must-Have for F-150 Owners! I couldn’t be happier with the BedRug for my Ford F-150. It’s one of those upgrades that not only improves the look of your truck bed but also adds real comfort and practicality. The material is soft yet durable, with a carpet-like feel that’s easy on the knees—especially when you’re crawling around the bed to load or unload gear. Installation was straightforward. The BedRug is custom-molded to fit the exact shape and contours of the F-150 bed, including around the wheel wells and tailgate. Everything lined up perfectly, and the included hook-and-loop strips made securing it a breeze. No drilling or permanent modifications were needed. One of the best things about the BedRug is how it protects the bed surface. It offers excellent padding, which helps prevent dents and scratches, and it even has some water resistance. I’ve hauled everything from tools to furniture and camping gear, and nothing has damaged the rug or the bed underneath. It also does a great job minimizing cargo sliding around while driving—much better than the bare metal bed or even a plastic liner. Cleanup is easy too; just hose it out or vacuum it if needed. Whether you use your truck for work, adventure, or everyday hauling, the BedRug is a smart investment. It looks great, feels great, and helps protect your truck long-term. Highly recommended!

Easy install. Looks and feels great.
Just finished installing this on my 2024 F150. This is the 2nd vehicle I've had a Bedrug in and by far the best truck bed liner I've ever had. I've had spray-in and drop-in in the past as well. My last one was on the truck when I bought it(for who knows how long) and still was perfectly fine after 5 years in the Florida sun and rain(with no cover of any kind). My initial concern was the moisture in the rug would make the truck bed rust but it doesn't. The truck bed under the bedrug on my 2007 Silverado looked brand new when I traded it in. I can't recommend these things enough and don't understand why they aren't a popular choice.

Perfect for dogs!
Really great product for my needs. I have a shell and put my dogs in the bed. Before they didn’t have any traction and would slide around. This gives them a nice soft space to lay and grip into when riding around. My furry little babes love it. Instal isn’t too tough at all, and it’s light weight. Great value!

Excellent!
I spent many hours researching bed liners, mats, rugs, and spray in liners trying to find what was best for me. I decided to give the Bed Rug a try and I couldn’t be happier. Although it was a lot of work installing it because I have so many tie down points, it was well worth the effort. It feels great, is tough, and looks good too. I mostly move equipment in the bed and haul camping gear but I do the occasional load of brush and wood. It will certainly be just fine for all of that. My other top pick was the DualLiner but I wanted the rug so I could slide things in and out of the bed. It’s definitely not slick but gives more flexibility to slide coolers and boxes than the rubber bottom of the Dualliner. Additionally, the thick pad is really easy of the knees when climbing in and out of the bed. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Had to order 3 times
My rating isn’t really based on the product. First order was damaged during shipment and never delivered. My second order was lost during shipment. Gave it one more shot, and usps stated it wouldn’t fit in the mailbox so they couldn’t deliver….no crap, sit it on the porch like every other package you deliver. Needless to say, that was on a Saturday and Monday was a federal holiday, so I couldn’t get it until Tuesday. The product itself looks awesome. The mat and sidewalls are separate pieces that you have to zip together. The entire time, I worried the zipper was going to bust because it’s not a metal zipper and didn’t zip together smoothly, but all went well. Fitment is pretty good. Over the right wheel well and in front of both wheel wells, there’s a little excess material leaving a wrinkle and some “puff” outs. Overall I’m happy with it. I don’t know that I would buy this for a truck I work out of, even though a lot of people do and it seems to hold up. I have a f450 flat bed/dump truck for that. But for getting groceries, hauling luggage or camping supplies, it’s extremely nice. The bottom of my topper is a very similar carpet, so when you open the bed and turn the bed lights on at night, it’s very inviting. It’s warm, soft and clean looking. I could sleep in the back of the truck without an air mattress.
