You can certainly pay a lot less for a spirit level but then perhaps you will not be as pleased with as you could be by paying more for this one. Clarity, viewing, and build all excellent. Not something I'm looking to lend to anyone.

A high quality and accurate tool, something that many have come to expect from the Bosch brand. However, some potential design problems relating to product longevity which I don't expect when paying a premium for a tool in the Bosch Professional premium range. Although the level itself is very well made and seems accurate in terms of reading in relation to its position, I do have concerns as to it maintaining this level of accuracy due to its design and lack of a protective case. Whilst a protective case is not standard for this type of tool, for this price, I do feel it is warranted owing to the importance of maintaining accuracy. The level does have impact absorbing material on both ends, but on the sides, top and bottom, it is bare metal which will not absorb any impact effectively and in one place, not even that. I store all my basic tools together in a carry bag, including this. When travelling, tools may impact each other, and owing to the protection deficiencies as mentioned previously, I feel accuracy may soon take a hit. A protective case could easily protect and prevent anything like this, at low cost also, but Bosch neglect to include this despite a premium price. Furthermore, even in the little time I've had it, albeit minor, cosmetic damage has occurred to the aluminium only further reinforcing the need for a protective case.

The Bosch spirit level is amazing not only is the quality one of the best on the market but it’s worth every penny, clear and clear accuracy. Don’t be scared of the high price tag it’s worth your money. I waited for Black Friday deals to hit so I brought it at £16 this level will last you YEARS AND YEARS!

What I liked the clear indication of the level of measurement of the item being measured from its position in three dimensions in regards to being level. I also liked the quality of the spirit level and the way it feels light. I used mine to measure the level of my cooker hood level and my kitchen cabinet level. Overall a good sturdy tool that shows quality of construction. Dislike non at the moment to say.

Great quality, and a superb level. The convenience of this ‘short’ level is terrific and has to be used to appreciated. A really great addition to my tool box.

This spirit level is the best I have come across. It has three accurate liquid vials for levelling when using the tool vertically or horizontally. Thanks to its excellent design you can see the liquid vials from various positions, including from directly above making levelling easy. I used it when installing a garden arch to ensure it was vertically level on sloping ground. Helpfully, the spirit level was magnetic thereby sticking to the arch and freeing my hands to make any levelling adjustments. The construction is solid despite being lightweight. It can easily handle falls on hard surfaces. Overall, a great tool that should be a compulsory part of the DIY toolkit.
