Plug the diffuser into a wall outlet in an upright position, with the vents pointing toward the ceiling, near where your cat spends the most time. Helps cat stress a great deal! No more per!
This does help immensely! We have 12 indoor cats, and we have a couple that get stressed. We are in a smaller temporary home, and that adds to the stress. It took about 2-3 weeks to “take effect” but after that time, no more inappropriate eliminating! I will keep on using this forever!

It works!
Great for temperamental cats. On smell and safe. Highly recommended.

Works well for my cats
My cats did not respond well to the Feli-way product. This is cheaper and they responded better with this product

Effective Calming for My Cat, But Leaves an Oil Streak on the Wall
I’ve been using the Comfort Zone Multi-Cat Calming Diffuser Refills for years, and they’ve consistently helped keep my cat’s behavior calmer and more balanced. Whenever a cartridge runs out, I can immediately tell a difference—there’s more agitation or restlessness. Once I replace the refill, the calming effect is noticeable again. For the price and the number of refills included, this is a great value, and it truly works as intended. However, I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because of a persistent design flaw. The diffuser releases the calming mist upward, and over time it leaves a streak of oil on the wall above the outlet. I find myself having to periodically clean the wall, which is inconvenient and could potentially cause long-term discoloration. I really wish they had designed it to diffuse outward instead of upward, which would likely solve this issue. That said, I’ll continue to use the product because of its effectiveness, but I do hope the manufacturer considers improving the diffuser design in the future.

This is the greatest product I have found for my cat's
I have two cats, Olive, Trouble Under Foot, and believe me he is. Oli is part Russian blue and part Schizophrenic. Sophie Grace is part Main Coon and Petrified Sweetheart. Sophie is still afraid of us after 5 years. It breaks my heart to think of what happened to her before her 8 weeks when we got her. Sophie has tolerated Oliver, but they are not best friends. Oli would like to be an only cat and he does his best to get rid of Sophie, (it’s not going to happen). He takes Sophie’s blanket from their room and hauls it to the laundry or to the trash in the kitchen, he eats her food and will push her out of the way if she is sitting in her favorite spot in the window. They got along reasonably well until Oli had to have some teeth pulled. He was so angry when he came home, he took it out on Sophie. I had to separate them for a few days, and I was in a panic mode trying to figure out what I could do to calm him down. The Vet told me to get a Pheromone product and that should help. On-line I found several products that were very insightful and after much review I chose Comfort Zone. This product is amazing, it calmed Oli down and he was no longer screaming every time he saw Sophie and it helped her nervous little body to calm down. At first, I purchased one Comfort Zone to give it a try and put it in my office. I noticed that both cats were in the same room and not fighting. I couldn’t wait to order 6 more. I have them upstairs and downstairs and two in their room and we are back to a calm house. Well, Oli would still like me to get rid of Sophie, he is still very jealous of her and resents me giving her attention, however, Oli is no longer dragging her blanket out of their room. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMFORT ZONE. It has saved our peaceful home from a constant battle. Now, both cats are sitting in the window together! I am sorry I didn’t find Comfort Zone 5 years ago This product is a game changer.

Great product. Keeps angry cats civil.
I bought these because my cats tend to fight a lot, especially at night. And the dog annoys them a lot too. I was recommended them by my neighbor. I can tell a major difference. My fat black cat (who is not fond of me) benefits the most. She is now a sweet cute girl who is very social with me. She likes to cuddle on my lap now. My anxious little grey tabby is far less anxious and doesn’t run when you cat call her. She now meows and perks up her butt ready for some scratchies. The dog doesn’t chase the cats as much either, and I’ve noticed the tabby actually rubs her head on the dog now, but the fat black cat still isn’t a fan of the dog. I can tell when the dispenser is beginning to be ineffective cus the cats will start arguing more. Each bottle at that time will have a bit in the bottom left too. I like to open the old bottle and new bottle with a butter knife (gently), use a dedicated old small plastic syringe from gas drops for my infant, suck out the remaining liquid out and add it to the new bottle. Might sound silly and petty, but it makes the new bottle last about a weekish longer than just throwing the old one away. Don’t spill it though because it’s oily and it a pain to completely clean up (personal experience). There isn’t any discernible scent that the human nose can detect. But it does work, I have witnessed my cats become much more chill. The coverage is good too. My house is just over 3000sqft and I put 3 plugs in commonly travelled areas or rooms the cats spend more time. One in a main hallway, one in my bedroom, and one in the living room. The pheromones spread enough that every area gets enough. Normal back and forth traffic across the house will carry the pheromones around, so I’d suggest only putting one in large areas or in rooms the cats spend most of their time. You don’t need one for every room, just higher traffic locations.

Left oily residue
Hard to tell how well it works as our house is small and there are no lower plugs where the cats can access to sniff these. It did leave an oily residue in one space. Female cat is still over grooming her fur off her body.

Works for our household!
We started buying these a few years ago when our 2 indoor cats (siblings from the same litter) were having some territorial issues due the outside stray cats that would approach our house. They started fighting a lot and it was scary. So we started the plug ins and I used to have them all around the house. Luckily our vet said 1 on each floor should do it. We can tell when they're empty and need a new one when the cats start to get a little short tempered with each other. I replaced the upstairs one tonight and they both started happily sniffing the air! We love keeping our kitties calm and happy!

We tried this product after a fairly traumatic event, one of my (normally very social with us) cats wouldn't come out from hiding, we plugged this in and within a few hours she was coming out to say hi again. She also had some territory issues and would pee on things if she got into certain rooms, but hasn't since we plugged the diffuser in. I wish autoship was a thing for the single refills though, or that you could buy them in multipacks like the single cat refills.

Fabulous product for my nervous cat and her tormentor to return the household to peace. I can tell as soon as it runs out. To buy 2 or 3 per month gets very expensive, $150/month and its just a tiny bottle of liquid. Can't cost very much to produce

I have been yousing it for some time now and my cat is getting more better to handle
