Why did you pick this product vs others?: This black V-neck classic Lacoste t-shirt is wonderfully made. Great soft fabric (100% cotton) thankfully, without them adding any stretchy element to the weave. Coolest fabric to wear, especially in the hotter climates, like Florida. HOWEVER: I normally take an extra large in most tops, but in this item I ordered 3XL (after several returns for size) as the brand runs very small. Once washed (they launder well in cold water), the 3XL fits perfectly. Quality: As someone who lived in Lacoste tennis clothes since the 60s and onward, the quality is superb. (FYI, the logo is a crocodile...NOT an alligator!)

tl;dr: This is a well designed, well made tee shirt of top quality material at a great price. It does however seem to be about a half size small, and is quite sheer to the point that I came back here to verify I bought a tee shirt and not an undershirt. While this limits the applications of the shirt, getting a design house pima cotton tee for 30 dollars is still a solid value, although I don't think I would have paid a full 60 for it. Fashionable, high quality v-necks are hard to find, and while I like white t-shirts I don't want a plain white, so a Lacoste with the small logo to break up the field of white a bit was perfect. I have other Lacoste clothing and am in general a fan of the brand ! This is not a "formal" tee, for instance there is no interesting weave or subtle pattern. It's just a simple every day cotton tee that happens to be a very high quality cotton and weave. When I pay for design house clothing, I expect top materials, top weaves, top design and top construction. This hits the mark on all of those. The 100% pima cotton has a very nice, natural cotton hand to it; soft and smooth but not with the almost synthetic look and feel of a Robert Barraket, which I do not prefer. It's a tight plain weave, but with enough recall to it to make me wonder if there was a bit of elastane to it, but it is indeed 100% cotton. The construction is top notch, and it's well designed although a few things didn't quite meet my expectation. A few points I noticed right away: - In the XXL that I wear, I would call it more of a 1.5X, not quite a 2X. It fit nicely around where my chest and arms where I like, but hugging my sides, like an undershirt would. Fortunately a little bit of smoothing it around stretched it out to fit me nicely. I don't pull at the fabric to do that, that will just create bad wrinkle marks; I put my hands inside the shirt, palm outstretched, and literally smooth it around a bit. That works well for me without creating any creases or wrinkles. This will need to be repeated with each wearing, which is fine with. This is a designer tee that I will wear when putting myself together, not for mowing the grass or working on the cars. - The most challenging part is it's sheerness, which I think deserves a mention in the product name or at least explicitly in the description. Bottom line, this looks and feels like an undershirt, and I'm very concerned with it being mistaken for an undershirt. This greatly limits my applications of it. I am not confident, for instance, wearing it as a comfortable smart-street top on a long flight, or with khakis at a casual team dinner as planned. It is, however, perfect for personal time hot weather, and I'm about to wear it running errands in the convertible, and would also wear this on the courts and in the gym; come to think of it this is also the perfect shirt for a hot day on the sailboat. - On the up side, the length, like most Lacoste for me, is perfect. Despite have a very large torso, it's not a very long torso and I hate shirts that hang down towards my knees. This one drapes just below my belt line. I suspect that in a washing it will shrink in length a bit like the L12.12, which for me would be perfect. I would say that at the 30 dollars I paid this is worthwhile if you're a label chaser like me who wanted a nicer option than a Haynes level shirt. For the full price of 60 dollars however the sheerness would have resulted in a return.

very good quality ,but the XL size is to small , I’m going to return it or exchange for a bigger size . Take that in consideration before you buy this .

The price was great on these v-necks and the colors are all great and look the same in person as in the photos. The Pima cotton is very soft and I love the slim, tailored fit of these shirts. I’m 5’ 10” tall, 140lbs, and an slim/athletic in build. I ordered mediums in all four shirts I purchased. The medium fits somewhere between a small and medium so the fit is snug even though I I don’t have extra weight. If you’re on the fence wondering, go ahead and get a large. I’m just careful to wash them on cold and air dry them otherwise I know they’d be too small to wear. The length is great. It fits right below the belt line for me so it looks nice, tidy, and modern. The V is the right depth. Not too deep and now too shallow. I’m happy with these shirts but do make sure and order a size up if you have a BMI of more than 20.

Looks good. Recommend. Nothing to complain about. The material is very soft and thin. The color "reef" looks more like the second image on the display rather than the first.

Size Small is like XS

I bought lacoste again and again because of its quality and fit. I recommend this product to everyone else to buy so you will be satisfied and value as i am.
