I find this book an excellent resource for advanced nutrition courses. My objective is to relate how medications & foods interact in unique medical conditions that students can relate to as well as use the common knowledge for thinking fast in emergency conditions. The consumer is not aware of a medication's impact on foods & beverages; without sharing this knowledge with other professionals it is difficult to maintain a constant body of knowledge related to pharmaceutical/food interactions... This book is small and compact that allows me to carry it easily.

I bought this book for my dietetic internship and it was a great resource throughout the internship to look up drugs and their effects. Also there is a section in the back of the book for lab values, what are normal levels, and what it means if they are abnormal. Very helpful and I would definitely recommend this product!

This is a great book to turn to quickly for information about meds interacting with food. The only thing I wish it has is an index.

If you need to know how food and meds interact this book is an easy way to learn the interactions between the two, once you are familiar with how to navigate throught it. Love this handy reference guide.

you need it to pass any nutrition exam and it helps a lot when you work with patients easy to use and its small size is a great advantage you can keep it with u all the time
