This is a great ruler for sewing or any time you need a ruler. It does not slide, and you can see thew it. It is very durable thick plastic. It is also very legible. I really like this ruler for my sewing. One of my friends recommended it to me.

Rulers are a must if you are cutting fabric for quilting. Precision cutting Is the foundation to great looking quilts, and these quality rulers are just what you need!

Wish I had ordered all my quilting rulers from this company. They’re pricy, but so with it! Love the textured surface that prevents the fabric from slipping. Easy to read and I love the seam allowance included which makes piecing so much easier. Highly recommend this company.

The size is great for smaller projects. The finish around edges on back slide prevent it from shifting while cutting. Measurement markings easy to read.

This is a very handy-sized ruler for cutting fabric, and I use it a lot. I'm trading out all of my quilt rulers for Creative Grids rulers. They're easy to read, hold, and they hang on to the fabric better than any other brands or grips I've used. Five stars!

This ruler is perfect for measuring and cutting smaller pieces of fabric. I am working on a project that has a lot of 2.5 inch strips and I like using it for smaller pieces. The back of the ruler has a texture which helps prevent it from moving across the fabric - but you still need to firmly press it down.

Love these rulers from Creative Grids. I have over the years bought various rulers for cutting fabric for making quilts. I have Omnigrid, EZ and other brands but Creative Grids are my favorites. Reason- they have a gripping surface on the under side of the ruler that holds the fabric in place. No slipping and sliding around. For my Omnigrid and EZ's I have bought what is referred to as "ruler and template grips" (can be ordered from Amazon). They are little clear discs that can be applied to the underside of the rulers to prevent slipping. They work but as we all know these rulers are expensive and to simply replace them because we have found something better is not always the best option. So if you are new to buying rulers for quilting and crafts I would say look at these.

Having many creative grids rulers in my sewing room, the 2.5 inch was one I did not have. Now it is my go to ruler for the smaller cuts, I find myself not having to constantly turn the bigger rulers to cut 2.5inch squares and strips etc, especially when I am using precut fabric. Creative grids rulers are made to an excellent quality and do not slip on the fabric when cutting due to their gripping design. I also find their rulers easier to work with and no longer use other makes
