Bell and Howell Ionic Whisper Air Purifier and Ionizer

On the turbo setting, I could definitely hear it, but it isn't to bad! On the whisper side it is quiet! It took a few days for the purification process to make a difference, but now I breathe better and and sleep better!

After receiving the Ionic Whisper a day late from when it was supposed to have been delivered. I was anxious to start using. I'm glad I opened the box/wrapping carefully because right out of the box I noticed that the housing was flimsy plastic and I was afraid of breaking just to turn the switch on. And of course, DID NOT WORK...hum. After checking cable, my wall outlet, reread instructions I found that the only way to get it to work was if I kept constant pressure on the Collector Plates. This thing is PURE JUNK and not worth the box it came in. I am IMMEDIATELY returning for a refund. So far my experience (4th item I purchased) with Amazon is not turning out too good. I have several more orders on the way and if those turn out to be junk too, well that WILL BE the end of my doing business through Amazon, because I'm not exactly ordering cheap stuff.

Threw out my Sharper Image ionic tower that broke after 20 years and got this .. It’s perfect .. easy to open & clean .. just be careful with the plastic tabs and slots on the front when opening & closing , to clean just wipe off the metal ionizing fins and put back together.. It’s been running for days & is indeed whisper silent ..

works ok just wish it was slightly bigger then what it is but it does help and do what it is intended to. and it is not very load at all could have on at night and could hardly hear it

did the job as long as it was functioning, but stopped working after just a couple months

This product is great for small bedrooms, as it keeps the air clean for sleeping at night. My husband & I have had no breathing problems during the night, since we've been using it. We leave it on 24/7. So easy to clean monthly. Would recommend for all ages, especially those with breathing problems.

To be honest, I read the reviews before I bought it BUT I bought it anyway. I trust the brand and the reviews were 2 and 3 years old so I figured the problems would have been fixed by now (late 2014). Silly me! Within a month, the air purifier stopped whispering and starting making loud vibrating noises instead that were beyond annoying. I unplugged it and put it in the cabinet. I will throw it away soon.

Ordered two one for bedroom and one for living room; keeps air clean from cat dander. Product is a lot smaller than expected but seems to be doing a great job.
