ok i ordered these a couple weeks ago, to throw together with everything i cld possibly buy for my system. i have two twelve inch 1400 watt boss subs on a 1400 watt amp, two 6.5 inch boss three way speakers, two 6x9 inch boss speakers all on a boss 400 watt amp on hpf for highs and all pass through a ssl eq, let me tell u it is loud, but the bass was slill way overpowering, so i got these tweeters to help even out the highs with the bass and they are great, had to play with my eq a bit more but these are crystal clear and can be very loud with no distortion although i cant turn volume to max so i doubt the max watt is as said. but its e tweeter, it dnt have to be. anyway i definately recomend these to ppl on a budget, or at least tru them out, cant go wrong for 12 dollars right? I love them and im going to buy three more sets when i get another amp an two more subs! (its crazy, treble can b heard two blocks with windows down or doors open)

The thing with tweeters, is that if you know you are hearing them, they are not good tweeters. Tweeters are supposed to blend in with the music, and round off the high ends of the different frequencies, without standing out.These do just that. Let's just put it this way, you don't notice them when they are on, but you definitely notice them when they are off. They do what they are supposed to do. They add a sharpness to the music that cannot be produced by midbass.The quality of the tweeters, themselves, is pretty good. The quality of the hardware and accessories that come with them, not so much. I did a surface mount on mine because I didn't want large holes in my interior panels, and one of the surrounds cracked. It still performs, but it is also still cracked.No big deal, though, I would buy these again if so inclined.

Very good product

I dash mounted these tweeters to give my system the highs that it needed. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality. I tapped them into the existing front speakers. The crossovers do a great job keeping the highs separate from the midrange and bass notes. I would recommend these to anyone wanting an inexpensive solution to adding tweeters to their system. I wanted to get speakers for my sons car and bought these based on the reviews and price point. I am giving them 3 stars based on the ability to install them. After learning the hard way, I learned that these are exceptionally deep speakers and do not fit a wide variety of cars without spacers or other methods to get them to fit. By the end of the ordeal we had someone install Pioneer speakers. From what I've learned, pioneer is the most versatile for after market speakers at this price point.

I purchased these for my mustang.I read the reviews and bought them even thou i was skeptical about the quality of them because the price was so low.Well i was wright they are total JUNK they are not even worth the cost of shipping them back.If you are looking to throw your money away then buy them but other than that dont waste your time or money.They should not be allowed to sell JUNK like this.I only gave one star because you cant give them none.I hooked them up and could not even hear them until i put my ear up to them and then all i heard was noise not even close to what you would expect to hear from a tweeter.Any body that says these even work is ether def or lying.

I just installed these in my 2000 durango. They sound good. The treble is crisp now and I have heard no distortion at the highest volume.The install wasn't too hard, but I did have to modify a few things to use stock door mounts. For the price they really are very good. Good clear crisp sound is how I'd describe it.

My stock system already had some OK lows, but was desperately lacking in the highs... This added the perfect symbol and acoustics boost... Cat Steven's acoustic guitar never sounded so crisp, it's so crispy crunchy it's like that first bite of the ripest most crunchiest lettuce.The mini crossovers make installation easy as splicing them to your factory speakers and works great at filtering out all the lows...When the sound is at 0 I do here a little very quite static through them though, however I don't know if that's a problem with them or my setup... It does go away the instant I turn the volume up to 1 so it could just be mild interference.-1 star for vague instructions, the tweets come pre-installed in the "swivel dome" housing, to put them in the "flush" housing to blend them in to a flush position in a self fabricated hole, you must first snap apart the speaker from the housing. Doing this feels like it might break, but instead it pops apart... so I guess it sort of is breaking, just not in a bad way, lol...Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend them as a budget upgrade!
