These tuna fillets are so good that you can eat them without any mayonnaise. Great for a quick lunch or in salad Nicoise. I already re-ordered.

Update: The seller explained the reason why it was less firm than I wanted. I have grown to enjoy it in tuna salads and sandwiches. I do drain the oil, however. Old review: Since moving, I've been looking for a can of good solid white tuna. When my luck ran out at the local stores, I went to Amazon. This was the first product I tried here, and it's okay. Flavor: Good, clean flavor but slightly salty. I'd drain the oil and add my own to balance out the salt. Color: I still did not try all the cans, but the ones I did, had dark meat, semi-firm but still tasty. Price: the price to quality ratio makes it worth buying. Buying something cheap for 1 $ will give you a different experience. The packaging is beautiful.

This is the best tuna I've ever eaten. It's delicious. Good amount in each can.

I was disappointed to see that Amazon no longer carries Santo Amaro's tuna packed in safflower oil, which I dearly loved (Did the company stop producing it?), and I was afraid the olive oil would overwhelm the tuna flavor. Not so. This tuna is a worthy replacement. This is tuna that actually tastes like tuna, or, at least, I think it does. Having been raised on Star Kist, Chicken of the Sea, etc., I never knew that tuna had any flavor until I took a chance and ordered Santo Amaro's product.
