Works !! - For my Scubapro Galileo !
I needed an interface that can read my Scubapro Galileo Dive Computer. This works very well. You do need to get the computer very close to the Device - as in with 1 Inch to get a reading. It does come with a USB Extension Cable for easy usage. Comes with "SmartTRAK" Software and Works also with SCUBAPRO LogTRAK.Today July 14th - 2019 - about a year a half after I got this device, it stopped working. Windows 10 Error Code19. No possible hardware fail as the RED LED is no longer working.

Great Product
This product works very well. I had problem setting up my software, so I contacted ScubaPro and they responded immediately and gave me simple instructions. I followed the first step in the instructions and the problem was resolved. This was great support!I had a similar problem with my Cressi interface two years ago and I am still trying to get them to tell me how to fix the problem.Quite difference between the two companies!

Easy to set-up and install
Easy to set-up and install. Only problem is that the disk was not compatible with my disk drive reader due to its small size. The driver on the disk was easily downloaded from Scubapro website. Uploaded log from computer with no problem. Now just have to edit dive specifics, More data then I will probably ever need but worth the investment.

doesn't work but maybe 1 out of 30 times!
I purchased this after misplacing my original infared dongle. This one will work for a second, then stop working, or it won't work at all! I am getting tired of the crap sold on Amazon anymore! Don't settle for the bottom of the barrel, buy from a local dive shop!

Awesome Software
I got the Uwatec Galileo Sol. This software was recommended by Scubapro. So I ordered it. Installed it with no fuss. First attempt to capture the dive log in my Sol worked with no issues. Highly recommended for those who want to keep their dive logs electronically.

Poor connection, too much money.
If you need this, then you need it, and there are not many other choices.

It Works - if yours doesn't it MIGHT be Windows 10
I nearly returned this. I tried it on two computers and it would not work. I had an old one but it was not working anymore. I did some research and learned it was not compatible with Windows 10.When this one didn't work, I researched it and learned that Windows 10 has some issues with IRDA devices. I did some research on Windows 10 IRDA support and learned there was a an issue with Windows. There was a Microsoft support thread that described how to re-install IRDA support. I did that and the device worked fine. I uploaded the data for two dive computers and looked at the dive computer settings and never had a failure.I did not give this high marks only because it is much more expensive than it should be. A device like this should be less than $30 but we have to live with it.

Works perfectly; product is precisely what's needed
This IR adapter works perfectly on Windows and MacOSX, though the ScubaPro's Mac software (Jtrak) sucks horribly (both buggy and lacking in features) in comparison to the Windows software. My MacBook Pro doesn't have an IR port, but this works perfectly both on the Mac as well as when connected to a Windows 7 virtual machine running in VMware. This product met my expectations perfectly.
