I am really impressed with this rolling pin set. I bought it mainly for pastry and laminated doughs and it has made such a difference. The stainless steel surface rolls smoothly and evenly and it feels nicely weighted without being heavy. It chills quickly in the fridge too which is ideal when you are working with butter. The thickness rings are very helpful. No more guessing or squinting at the dough trying to work out if it is even. It takes the stress out of getting precise layers and has given me much more consistent results with puff pastry and croissants. The mat is a good size and stays flat on the counter and the cleaning brush is a thoughtful extra that makes tidying up much easier. Everything feels durable and well made. If you bake pastries, pies or pizza dough, this is a great set to have in the kitchen. It has genuinely improved the quality of my lamination and I am very pleased with it.

TBH, it's a 4.5, the slight loss was down to needing a small piece of the screw thread needing removing, easy done. Lovely weight, rolls pastry like a dream, great for cookies & flatbread, & even marzipan, icing & fondant. Leave in fridge a couple of hours before using to get extra cold when rolling pastry, especially on a warm day. Great addition for the novice baker, or for the more experienced. Good weight & length, can be used without the rings. Would make a lovely gift for any cook/baker.

Lovely quality easy to clean love the weight and the fact it is stainless steel it stays cool when rolling pastry and I like having the different thickness you can get by changing the rings.

Excellent...I use it many times in a week. The different size end rings are so useful as I make biscuits so thickness matters

I bought this to help me to make end I'd tern gifts of sugar biscuits for teachers. I needed them to be equal thickness to allow me to make them into 'cookie pops' Thsu rolling pin made the job smooth and efficient. It was easy and smooth to use. I took note of not letting it be submerged in water so cleaning was pretty easy too! Can't wait to make the next batch!

It gets full of water when submerged, which makes it annoying to clean. It's fine if you just don't submerge it. It's pretty good for rolling. Can't fault the rolling. It doesn't always have the specific thickness I want, but that's not really its fault. Also keeps sticking to my gingerbread dough, but again that's probably not the rolling pin's fault.
