I have one of these fitted to my 3D printer cabinet. If I'd fitted two, I would have trouble closing the door. The thing I like most about these is that if you angle it correctly it will hold the door shut saving you having to use a catch. Wonderful.

The product was very good. The only problem I had was the measurements that were supplied for installation. On the Amazon site they were different from the installation guide I received with the package. As I had 4 of them and only needed 2 I trialed and errored a few times to get the correct measurement. I did end up bending one of plates slightly but this did help me get the correct measurements. The plate was easily straitened. Once I had them installed correctly they were just what I needed. I was using them on an overhead kitchen upward hinged cupboard.

When the 80n pneumatic strut stopped supporting the weight of the lid on an ottoman footstool I ordered these 100n struts having checked the overall physical size was the same as the original part. Super simple to fit using original footstool fittings , job done in minutes.

So I got these as I wanted to turn an hollow pouffe into a box for blankets. I pryed the lid off and tried to fit different hinges, but it didn't work. So I got these thinking that will definitely work, after fitting them (yes correctly - despite no instructions) I watched a youtube video before ordering. Anyway after fitting them and being ready to close the lid, the lid just swayed from side to side and the things just wouldn't go down on either side, then one ended up popping off altogether. What's the point if the gas lift doesn't move without some amount of force which I tried with the second set. Not happy.

I used this product in my camper conversion, to upper cuboard doors, everyone of them have no strength or gas left in them doors are not staying open and this is before I have even used the camper van

As a direct replacement for an existing item, these were easy to fit and work great. My wall cupboards (doors hinging upwards) had 80N stays which had failed but the 100N ones here work just fine. These items keep the cupboards open but also enable a soft closure when they are closed.
