this garlic press works great! easy to use and really sturdy. This will last the test of time!! The Garlic is being smushed through little holes so of course there are bits that get stuck. But hot water cleans them right out. Nothing that inhibits use :)

I searched high and low for a good garlic press and this one is truly amazing. It's easy to clean and gets nearly all of the garlic our of the bulb. I use my finger to scrape anything left in the basket before I put in the next bulb. It also comes with this black rubber roller thing that you roll your garlic in and it takes off the shell. GENIOUS! I've always hated peeling that peel off the garlic and this rolls it right off. This is a nice quality, sturdy, garlic peeler. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Daily use in my house, easy to clean and store, durable, size, weight are all great because I am a minimalist, I get annoyed having a lot of kitchen tools. I fancy functionality not clutter. This garlic press is a one stop shop for me, quickly mince garlic for salad, dressing, spice on anything.

I have had a Pampered Chef garlic press for years. It is a very good one except that it is not stainless steel. When the coating wore off, my garlic came out looking gray. Not sure what that is, but it can't be healthy! So I went shopping to replace it with a stainless steel one. This one looked good and had fairly high reviews. One or two gave bad reviews stating that the garlic smashed up the sides of the press instead of pressing through the holes designed for it to go through. But those reviews were definitely in the minority. The first time that I used this press, my first thought was that it sure didn't press out much garlic. When I examined to see why, I found the garlic smooshed up the sides of the press just like the reviews said. I have used it several times with the same results. When I finally had enough and decided to send it back, I wanted to take pictures to show what I was describing. For some reason, I pulled out the little tube that they sent with the press. I had never used it, but it was supposed to peel the garlic (which I never had to do with the Pampered Chef press). So I decided to give it a try. It was so easy to peel the garlic! Then I put it through the press and noticed that a LOT of garlic had come through. Then I opened it to look at the sides of the press. There was a only small amount of garlic on the sides. So, I learned that this press is acceptable IF you are willing to peel the garlic first. And they send you a nifty difty press with which to peel it! So I raised my rating from a one star to three stars! AND I don't have to go to the trouble of sending it back!

This has been a life and time saver! Great quality and has saved the tedious task of mincing. I recommend this for anyone especially if you're coming into cooking. I've been doing it by hand for years and never thought to buy this until now.

Been using this garlic press since I bought two weeks ago. First I have to compliment the fast delivery. I love the durability and it's easy to clean. Made my cooking prep easier and faster. Highly recommended!

Ich hab mir die Knoblauchpresse bestellt, da sie auf den Bild sehr wertig ausgesehen hat. Und nach der Lieferung wurde ich auch nicht enttäuscht. Ein kleines Bürstchen zur Reinigung ist beigelegt und die Handhabung ist top. Ich hatte zuvor natürlich andere Knoblauchpressen, aber war nie wirklich Happy damit, daher hab ich hier den Versuch gestartet und wurde bislang nicht enttäuscht
