Excellent coffee, great price!
I have just purchased my first bean to cup machine and did a search for a bulk supply of beans to go with it. After using a B2C machine at work I wanted tastier coffee than instant with more convenience than a filter machine. I found these beans and liked the fact that they were described as "intense and strong flavoured" and they were a reasonable price so I promptly added them to my cart. After getting to grips with the machine, I have to say they have not disappointed, the coffee is flavourful and smooth (I am using the "extra strong" option on my machine). This morning, I made a cup of instant as my wife wanted decaf and I didn't want to boil the kettle and fire up the machine...it just tasted hot and wet...will be using the beans all the time now.

Hits the spot!
I usually buy Lavazza Rossa. Nothing else at anywhere near the price is as good. For better coffee at a higher price see Atkinsons in Lancaster. I could not resist trying the Amorcaffe Intenso because of the price and the reviews. I am very glad that I tried it. Although not as complex as Rossa this coffee makes a great brew - only tried it so far with a pour-over filter - with no muddy mouth feel or exaggerated bitterness. First cup of the morning goes down quickly as the temptation to gulp is quite strong. If the price of decent beans usually deters you then this is the way in. Stop posing around with filth in a cardboard cup and give this a go. Only tried this black but if you are used to drinking white coffee then I guess that you would like this. Delivered on time. Great value.

Best Value Coffee Around
I tried this coffee after buying a bean to cup machine and being very surprised at how expensive coffee beans were. Having seen these at a price hugely below most of the other coffee offerings I thought I would try them. They are great value, have a great taste and make an amazingly smooth coffee. I am not an expert on coffee, I have only really converted to coffee in the last 18 months since my wife spent a fortune on a new machine, so I have to get my use out of it. I was very surprised at the quality of these beans and the price will ensure that I return an buy these again and again. Delivered quickly, packed well with great service.

Not Intenso in my opinion but not unpleasant and great price.
I have been a huge fan of Coffee Masters 1kg bags of beans for over 6 months now and my regular blend was getting a bit boring. Looked for some alternatives and had to give this coffee a try for comparison. The coffee has produced(assume roasted and not just packed) at the end of April so fairly similar to Coffee Masters in that respect. I did notice the beans I've opened so far were much smaller in comparison to my regular beans although I have also had a blend from Coffee Masters which were also a much smaller size like these.. the beans also had a little noticeable oil or moisture on them from roasting or possibly being packed while still hot causing condensation? It's only really noticeable looking closely but it was noticed. In regards to flavour, I really can't say I found it Intenso. I normally enjoy a medium strength and roast and nothing to dark and I probably found this not as strong as Coffee Masters Masters Blend although it is a much darker roast and visibly darker is you use milk. I have probably increased the amount used for each cup by an extra half a scoop of coffee but given the too good to be true price of this coffee it still doesn't really matter to much. On first trial I thought maybe I've made a bit of a mistake but after around 48hrs of playing to taste I've come to enjoy this coffee and especially the huge saving in price. I paid £27.99 for 6kg instead of the £13.50 I have been regularly paying weekly for 1kg if coffee. Almost £60 or a month free coffee is a sacrifice worth paying for a slightly higher quality coffee in my opinion. I still would say Coffee Masters has the edge on flavour, but I can't justify the price different when im actually enjoying this coffee. Do I get the chocolate notes that have been mentioned in reviews? No... Reminds me more of a nutty Brazilian and given the fact I'm having to use more coffee than my regular Columbian/Brazilian brend I'd say it's certainly not intenso. I am quiet happy to carry on using this coffee given the huge saving and fact that it's actually not unpleasant like some other cheap coffee I have tried. I have upgraded my review from 3 to 4 stars as after a couple of kilos of this coffee and getting quantity right I am happy drinking this and saving £60 over 6kg to my previous favoured blend. I have ordered more than once and intend to continue using this coffee while available.

Dark roasted perfection in a cup
I first bought this brand of coffee a while ago, after much research, and had no hesitation in reordering. This certain ticks all the on-screen boxes as regards flavour intensity and the price compares favourably to most I looked at alongside. When this new batch of deliciousness arrived I was once again not disappointed. From the opening of the first bag the freshness and dark roasted aroma hits your nostrils and pervades all your senses, transporting you to the coffee plantation from whence the beans first came. Hearing the beans clatter excitedly into the top dispenser of my De Longhi coffee machine filled me with longing for that first cup of hot dark liquid nectar. Mmmmmmmmmm Definitely on the top of my list of things to reorder for when the last bag is opened.

I know what I like, and it's not just the price!
Took a risk on these, even though some of the flavour descriptions in the other reviews didn't really do it for me. Let's face it, taste is pretty subjective and I was obviously drawn by the great value. I'm not going to try and describe it apart from the fact that it tastes strong and flavourful, without being harsh, which is what I like, but it ultimately depends on the combination of the grind, water, and coffee you choose. Needless to say this now my regular, and not just because I have about 6 months supply! I've tried a number of others by Coffee Masters, Spiller and Tate, Pelican Rouge, and Lavazza and although they've all been good to some extent, so is this, and really don't feel like I'm settling because of the price. Sure, it's not going to be as fresh 6 months in, but it's laudable that you even have recent production date on something that costs about £4.99 a kilo.
