This mattress topper has made an enormous improvement in the quality of my sleep! I have chronic pain (RSD) and since placing this on top of my memory foam mattress I am finally able to get a comfortable night's sleep. Now I experience a lot less tossing and turning and wake up with a significant amount of less stiffness and pain in the morning. After reading the reviews on Amazon and other sites I took a chance and bought one size bigger as suggested. I was concerned there would be a big overhang by getting a size bigger but that was not the case at all. There was actually very little overhang and when I pushed the baffles together it lined up perfectly to my mattress and my fitted sheet holds it in place nicely which results in no gaps or 'valley's' of flatness. Even sitting up lounging on the bed using my computer or watching tv has not caused any thinning between the baffles. It does make a 'puffy' appearance under the sheet but that is to be expected with pillow-like toppers and what turns your hard mattress into a wonderful cloud to sleep on. Once I add my quilt on top, it gives the normal smooth appearance. I will be ordering another topper when I get my new sofa-bed for guests. The topper comes in a nice storage bag that can easily be kept in a closet when not in use. I absolutely LOVE this topper! 8/10/13 ~ Boy, I made a big mistake. I spilled a bowl of cereal on it so attempted to wash it. I have a huge front-loader washing machine so thought my queen size topper would fit since we wash thick King-size comforters in it without a problem. Well it came out of the washer with three rips in it (one big and 2 smaller). There were dark smudges near each rip. What I deduced happened is those areas of the topper somehow became wedged between the washing machine drum as it was spinning causing the tears and the smudges. So I'll have to find a way to repair it. What a bummer!

I spent several months searching for a mattress topper for our king sized bed and reading review after review before deciding on this one! Me and my husband have been married for 10 years and have tried every mattress out there. We have bought high dollar tempurpedics, pillow tops, adjustable beds, etc in the search for a bed that allowed us to get a decent night's sleep. I have three herniated disc in my lower back as the result of a car accident I was in and also have an alarming amount of arthritis in my back for a petite 30 year old woman along with damage to my sciatic. I need a fairly firm mattress in order to not wake up in an abundance of pain but also need something soft enough that my hip bones and shoulders do not ache from laying on my slide. I am 5'5 and 118 lbs and my husband is 6'1 and 220 lbs so memory foam made me feel like I was laying on a brick and made him feel like he was drowning. Everything is memory foam now!! So this topper was a rare find! We finally decided to put a stop to our yearly mattress purchases and look for a topper! My husband has had two knee replacement surgeries and has some back pain as well so between the two of us it seemed like sleep just wasn't in the cards. Thankfully I came across this topper in my search and it has truly blown us both away! It feels like a cloud but not one you sink deep down into. We put it on top of our firm Sealy mattress to finally achieve the perfect amount of support and comfort! I can sleep on my side without waking up aching and can get a good bit of relief from my constant back pain! On top of that there is the added bonus that this topper has finally helped me to be able to sleep in the same bed as my husband who does not simply rock his foot to sleep like some people do but throws his leg back and forth in the most ridiculous motion...causing me to feel as though I am on a roller coaster! I've woke up angry at him more times then I can count because I was thrown about the bed hour after dreadful hour. The joys of marriage, ha! ;). Since purchasing this mattress topper a month ago I have been able to stop kicking my husband all night, have finally gotten quality sleep for the first time in 10 years and have been able to hop up out of the bed in the morning without my body hurting worse then it did when I crawled into bed the night before! I wash our sheets once a week and when I do I make sure to fluff the topper and that has ensured it doesn't get too flat and retains it's cloud-like coziness! I couldn't recommend this enough!

As a few others have said, the topper was comfortable at first, but after two weeks the discomfort of our too firm, gel topped mattress came through and the side pain returned. I fluff the topper daily, but the poly fill has not maintained its loft. Not an expensive item, but a disappointment nonetheless. I have slept comfortably on down filled toppers in the past and guess I'll have to bite the bullet and spend the extra money for one of those. Will move this one to a less used bedroom and hope it works better there. Not worth the hassle to return it. Update: fluff pad and reverse it when I change bedding. Place pad under fitted mattress pad, which helps to hold it in place and keep it clean. Push padding back in place each morning when I make bed. It does take some effort, but beats sleeping on a too firm mattress. Update 2: after 9 months of use and flipping, the fill has totally broken down in our sleep spots and my made up bed looks like two valleys separated by a mountain in the middle. Unable to push the fill back into place. I was thinking of buying a replacement, but I see the price has gone up by $10. I think that a pad with smaller baffles and more stitching might hold up better. Will look around for something like that.

I have 3 of these and am considering a 4th which will put one on every bed in our home. The first was purchased 7 years ago and I still sleep on it every night. I am a spring mattress pillow top person but with prices of those mattresses being so I high I’ve relied on this topper with a foam mattress and sleep well for 1/8 of the price. Foam mattresses are far too stiff for me without this pad. The pad makes the bed firm, yet soft and doesn’t leave you waking up sweating. The pillow cover part is fully washable and mine has seen many washes and is still holding up.

Love it. I have a €200 ikea mattress and have this on top, it feels like a luxury hotel. It makes a noticeable difference, I even had a dream that I had this on my bed- like it was incorporated into my dream haha! I really love this and highly recommend. It doesn’t flatten either. It’s great.

This got to be the most comfortable addition to my bed. I have a fairly new mattress and although it is comfortable it was never really soft enough for me. I wanted something that I could sink into and made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. Although I have had this for less than a week I have to say I'm so glad I got this mattress topper. I'm looking forward to spending many cozy nights tucked up in my bed!

I bought this mattress topper expecting to have to return it. I am very surprised! It is soft and so comfortable!

The material is durable and well made. The stuffing does shift where your pressure points are so it does need to be flipped every so often. Nice addition to a too-firm mattress.
