Anyone other tuna snobs out there? I'm gonna admit, I am one. No judgement here, but those cans of mushy tuna at the grocery store will not do. I will put them in tuna salad, but to just eat - no sir. I've tried a few pricy brands and I like them all. I like a tuna that is not fishy, tastes fresh, and is packed in a high quality oil. Of all the brands I've tried, and I've tried many, this is my right now favorite. It is a bit pricy - maybe- but worth it. You can eat it right out of the can. Not too salty and even though it's packed in oil, it's not oily either. I've had the lemon and the Spicy Chili and both are amazing.

These cans of tuna have a pull tab so you don't need to use a can opener. The pieces are larger then what you would get in your standard round can of tuna. There are some bits also. I did not have any issues with opening either can. Due to being in larger pieces, the can is not packed full of tuna pieces. This also leaves a lot of room for the oil & 1 pepper. The flavor is good & the tuna tasted good although a bit dry even though it has been soaking in the oil, but then again tuna is dry. I did not find this to be very hot spicy, just a pleasant mild flavor. I did eat the tuna without mixing into anything. I did not drink down the oil & neither did my wife when she tried the other can. I find it a bit odd they have the nutrition label saying this little bit of tuna is 1.5 servings as the can is not packed with fish. The entire can would be 195 calories in total for the 1.5 servings. I do like the ingredients list is pretty short & has in bold that this contains Tuna! Both myself & my wife did enjoy this tuna. Not sure we would purchase again though at the current price as neither of us are "tuna snobs" ;-) and the normal round can tuna in water is good enough for us. If you are someone that prefers a more premium tuna though, this may be something good to give a try.

This canned Yellowfin Tuna Fish (with olive oil & red chili) comes in a 4.4-ounce can. There are 2 cans included in this product. The tuna fillets do not have an overpowering fishy taste, and the aroma out of the can does not have a strong fish smell. Since the tuna is in olive oil, the fillets are not dried out. Included is a red chili pepper, which is mildly spicy (I like my foods really spicy, so my idea of spiciness may be different from others). The organic extra-virgin olive oil is great. I use this as part of the meal I made, instead of throwing it away. I enjoy the meaty taste of this yellowfin (versus the typical tuna we buy at the local stores). One can is enough for me to eat as part of my meal. The can has a lid that I find easy to open. I did not need to use a can opener - simply lift the ring, and pull away from the can. On both cans, the ring did not snap off while I was using it to lift the lid. I count 10 ingredients, with the first two being tuna & organic extra virgin olive oil. This is good-tasting tuna that is low in mercury, non-GMO, sustainably caught via pole and line (that means less risk of harm to other animals in the sea); however, if I were to buy premium tuna that is eco-friendly (which this FinerFin brand certainly is), I would opt for another brand that tests every tuna they catch for mercury and it has just 2 ingredients.

WOW!! This is THE tuna that solves the mystery of where is where is the high-quality, foodie-grade canned tuna? I always wondered why there was no product in between BumbleBee "cat-food tuna fish" cans and the $35 tuna steak you order in a steakhouse. THIS IS IT! the texture, taste, smell and flavoring are exciting and extremely satisfying. This product was obviously put out by a fellow foodie who didn't compromise AT ALL! I love it and can't wait to taste the other flavors that I just ordered. Highly recommended, there are no competitors to this.

It comes with a whole pepper inside, tuna comes in chunks, not ground. Great quality pieces. The pepper is good to cut up and mix it with the meat, it tastes really good!!!
