Works great as a replacement for the OEM cable on a Viore Portable 2 Screen DVD Player from Walmart (about 10 years old).

Okay, I bought this to connect the DVD unit to the sub woofer in th-m505 and it worked perfectly. Also, we lost the remote in the move so, I ordered a remote that was suppose to work. It did not work so, I ordered a rockville 20 band EQ (runs approximately 70 here ion amazon) so, I could fix the EQ manually. It worked great and its in a bedroom so, only using it in stereo. If I connect it with an optical cable from the TV output, I get 5.1 but, can't adjust the EQ so, I'm going old school. LOL It sounds great and I'm glad I was able to save this from the junk yard. The cable itself is fine but I wanted to use it to connect my Subwoofer to an older Nakamichi system but the diameter of the 8 pin cable connection is not the same as the Nakamichi!

This was a gamble as the fitment was not clear on particular models or equipment that it would fit but it did fit our vintage Sony TV.

After having some misadventures with a cable it was recommended that I try this one. The price here is quite steep compared to the Amazon.com U.S. price but I decided to go with it anyway. No misadventures with this one. It arrived the day before my big performance and it did the job so was well worth it.

This item works and is the right length that I needed and very hard to find this type of cord for my jvc sub. My original cord works but was to short so I replaced it with this one and now when turning lights or TV or stereo on or off all my speakers now make a loud clicking sound everytime.
