Easy to install, perfect for all mini split ACs
This pump was a life saver for me. I had to route the drain hose of my mini split going up to attic and coming down on the other side of the house. Given most of the mini split ACs use gravity based drainage, i needed a way to pump the water up. This one has a 50ml tank, so it won't turn on all the time, it will only turn on when the tank is full, it turns on for 10 seconds to empty the tank, and then goes off again, efficiently and quietly. I do recommend this for anyone who is using mini split AC, especially if you are not sure your drain hose is able to carry the water out.

No more janky buckets to empty! So glad I took a chance on this unit!
We live in Arizona, and I'm prepping my Mom's casita for the hot summer. The previous owner installed two mini-split units in her place- I believe they are a knock-off of Mr. Cool. They worked great for awhile, but both of the (sauermann) condensate pumps in them failed- one unit shut down completely, and one just dripped down into the drywall (yikes). So, as a temporary solution- I was running the condensation lines out of the units via pex into a couple of buckets on the floor (super classy, I know!). When I saw these- they were exactly what I needed- I opted for the 40L so that the pump wouldn't have to work so hard. They both came with power chords that had plugs (unlike some of the reviews say, mine came with plugs, as of May 2020), and a good amount of the hose that you need. They went up without a hitch, and are doing exactly what they say they will do. I installed them about 6 inches lower than the mini-split units, and used a combination of PEX, a brass elbow from Home Depot, the supplied tubing, and some nylon tape to run the condensate line into the units- the inlet well is deep enough to ensure that the line isn't going anywhere- which is good design. These pumps are a life-saver for me, and I now have piece of mind that everything will be OK at my Mom's place. (My Mom recently came down with pneumonia and back pain, she was taken to the ER, when I came back to her place she had forgotten to dump the water out of the bucket- so it was coming out of the other side of the unit, onto a surge protector on the floor- it really freaked me out- but thankfully, nothing was ruined). My wife says that the install looks very professional/clean- which makes me happy- opposite of the janky bucket. Thank you FUJIWARA.

Stopped working after a month
It was a nice idea - small, quiet, etc. It worked for two weeks, then failed. I emptied it, reset it, started working again. Two weeks later, it was dead and water was everywhere. It was supposed to overflow out the bottom somehow, but when it stopped working, the water pooled out the top and flooded the electrical connection which is there (dumb). I replaced it with a diversitech pump which has a larger storage basin, larger diameter tubing for waste water, and overall seems like a better unit - I've used their pumps in other houses I've owned. The one I got was only $10 or so more, but works so much better!

Mr. Cool basement unit pump
This pump was installed to facilitate the condensation discharge from our Mr. Cool basement unit. I will update as time progresses but install was easy. This pump was purchased to replace a Gobi II that malfunctioned by buzzing loudly and constantly after only 2 summers. This one has an external power plug whereas the Gobi had a hard wire that was hidden behind the walls, so this one is less aesthetically pleasing. If it works for longer than the Gobi it will be well worth it though. Updates to come.

Powerful and QUIET
This totally solved a chronically condensate leaking Daiken split unit in our Sun Room. The existing pump was a smaller unit the installer tried to "hide" inside the Daiken cover (which didn't fit well). The reservoir would fill and the pump would trigger LATE, meanwhile water would spill out on the floor overflowing the condensate tray. I installed this on the wall below the Daiken indoor evaporator unit with new condensate lines. I took 120V power from one side of the 240V power terminal block in the Daiken unit. End result was clean looking and TOTALLY solved the leaking problem. When this unit comes on, you literally can't hear it unless you put your ear against it, that is how quiet it is. My take-away is -- outboard condensate pumps are the way to go.

Rubber plug damaged causes leaking
I owned three of these Fujiwara pumps. They work well. I ordered another Fujiwara pump. It had no power cord in the box and when I installed it, it was leaking. The rubber plug in the back was damaged, either in manufacturing or the way they installed it into the pump at the factory. They should send an extra

Worked for 10 months and then stopped pumping
The pump is very quiet and easy to install. It worked extremely well until it didn't work anymore. After 9 months it just stopped pumping and was leaking water all over our countertop. After troubleshooting, it looks like the motor died. Having to purchase another one just after 9 months seems a little ridiculous when it is only used during the summer months (condensation from AC unit). I think we got approximately 5 months of usage out of this pump. I've tried researching but I cannot find a phone number or point of contact anywhere to inquire about warranty support. We purchased this unit in September 2020.
