Why did you pick this product vs others?: It is truly micro gaming without sacrificing usability. The buttons are the right size and the screen is very clear and well designed. I played it a bit in the package because I was going to be gifting this to someone but decided I needed it. It is so small it will easily fit in a pocket in a bag in case you are caught waiting somewhere. I played a bit with the sound on but the music can only last for so long before I muted it, and it has a mute button which is a great function to add. Build quality feels very sturdy. I will have to get another for gifting.

The Tetris Micro Arcade is a very convenient time killer. The portability cannot be beat and a round or two of Tetris will always help pass the time. I'm using the term time killer as this isn't the ideal way to experience Tetris and the input could be better. I have the original Arduboy (with nice and soft squishy buttons) and the clicky buttons on the Micro Arcades is disappointing to me and annoying to others. One of my favorite parts of Tetris is the music, so it only playing for one loop before changing to sound effects is a let down, so now I play with the sound off as the buttons make enough noise as is. Like others I found the lack of memory to keep the high scores a bummer, but I did find a way around that. The system has a hidden sleep mode and the battery life while idle is amazing. I received the unit the first week of December, only charged it once and it still powers on and has my high scores. I am waiting to find out if there is a low battery notification of any sort. The build quality is outstanding for a device under $20, but the plastic scratches a little too easily for my taste. A few scratches won't keep it from working, but unfortunately it can't tosed into any pocket/bag with anything hard, downgrading its portable nature a little. It's as small as a credit card but as thick as maybe six. The Micro Arcade is an easy recommendation, but set expectation accordingly and don't expect the best version of the game chosen. I like it enough that Galaga will be bought as soon as it's available.

This is definitely a bit of a novelty item that I thought I wouldn't use much. But turns out its probably my most used gaming device lately. It's SUPER tiny and I have rather large hands/fingers so after about 15-20 minutes it gets a little uncomfortable but if you don't plan on using it for hours on end it's not much of an issue. My favorite part is how clicky the buttons are! If you are an avid Tetris fan and don't have gigantic hands like I do, give this cute little system a shot.

I have the original black and white screen Micro Arcade Tetris and it is superior in every aspect. Except for the color screen there is nothing this device does not do worse and even the color is debatable since the battery lasts way less. Compared to the previous version this one has inferior gameplay, for example it has an annoying 3-2-1 counter before each game, it pauses and displays "Level up" message every time you level up which is interrupting the game flow, it has no ghost/shadow projection of the dropping piece which is a must on such a small screen and it is very easy to often misdrop tetrominos off by 1 which is super frustrating. High scores are erased if you turn off the game -- what the hell!? That must be a bug. The sounds are weird and annoying, even moving pieces produces an annoying beep and the lame music plays initially shortly and there are no sound effects and then the music stops and sound effects start -- initially i thought my unit was broken in that aspect but no, that is by design (?) If this was the only credit card sized Tetris i would've given it maybe 3 stars but it loses a star for being inferior to its predecessor. However the predecessor is not available anymore and it fetches insane prices on eBay so it keeps one additional star for being the only reasonable available option. If you have the original black and white device do NOT buy this one for gameplay. Only buy if you are a collector (like me, so I won't return it for that reason alone). If you want Tetris in this form factor or for nostalgia reasons and don't have the original one then go for it -- there is nothing else available for this price and the unit is super cute and compact like all other Micro Arcades in this form factor. It's a shame they did not simply keep the original software and just added the color, missed opportunity.

It works well and there is no bugs or glitches and it is very compact and easy to store the screen is just a tiny bit difficult to see and read.

The packaging is damaged, now I can't gift it. Not happy.

El juego cumple con las expectativas; ya que tiene toda la experiencia del juego y los sobrinos lo encontraron muy divertido. Creo que voy a comprar otros de la colección.
