Nice to have more outlets and a surge protector too. the only thing I don't like is that the outlet cover must be removed from the wall, and the outlet screws must be tightened ti pull the outlet a little back into the wall, if you want a nice flush to the wall installation -- a small design change to slightly recess the back of the unit would prevent that.Works great, and unlike a traditional splitter is attached with a screw so it does not come loose every time one cord is unplugged :-)

What I liked best was that this protector screws into the wall so when you unplug something, the entire thing does come off disconnecting other things you’ve plugged to it.

These have two indicator lights: Ready, and Grounded. I have plugged this into two of my outlets and discovered that the plugs do not have a proper ground. THANK YOU AMAZON! I will be getting these repaired soon. Other outlets have tested fine so it is my outlet that has a problem and not this surge protector.Many modern houses have "Decora" outlets and switches. This style of outlet looks great but these do not have a screw in between the outlet plugs. For this "wall-mount" surge protector to be stable, it needs to be screwed in. A tug on any of the cords plugged into this surge protector could pull it out of the outlet and everything will lose power. Only a few of my outlets have been upgraded to this style so I can secure this surge protector correctly.I still give this a 5 star rating. One of the ungrounded outlets will be changed back to the old style plugs so that I can mount this properly.

Perfect wall outlet extender with surge protection.

I have a lot of low power things to plug in. These work well and are safe as far as I can tell. You do need to pull off the original faceplate and make sure you screw this into the faceplate mounting hole. PLEASE Don't just plug this into your socket. (This also applies to any other similar device you find here)
