These wheels are for use on low speed trolleys/barrows/etc and are unsuitable for anything going faster - unless you intend to shorten your life, don't use them for soap boxes or go-karts etc! They will fit onto a shaft of up to 16mm diameter. If the shaft is significantly less, the wheels will wobble unless the shaft is sleeved to make up the difference. The wheel-hub contains a ball-race, which runs smoothly. I've fitted four wheels to our garden trolley, which had tyres and inner tubes that had perished over the six years of use. Contrary to some other reviews, I've found that the tyres appear to be well made and show no signs of poor moulding or other imperfections. They do seem to be a lot better than the ones originally fitted to the trolley. Although I only needed four tyres & inner tubes, these were cheaper to buy even though they included the wheel hub. Very pleased with this purchase - £20 for 4 complete wheels has got to be good value.

These are very good replacement for my tipping garden cart. The old ones were split and these are better quality than the ones that were on the cart. Really good value for money and fast delivery.

'Just what it said on the tin'. Finished flooring looks great even though it was fitted by an older DIY'r. The advice given for cutting the slats to length works well, but trying to use the same method to cut along the length did not work so well. On thin cuts along the length I had to score with a knife then cut using a fine toothed saw, as trying to break the cut by bending along the knife score did not work. Otherwise a great product.

I bought these for a sack barrow bought from B & Q 30 years or so ago for @ £14. It has seen a lot of use, so when the valve on one of the tyres gave up I looked on line, and discovered these wheels. I was a bit put off by the problem with the hub width in some of the reviews, especially since one sack barrow pictured looked exactly like mine. So I bought them expecting to have to rebuild the wheels as described. But these fit mine perfectly, and seem to me better quality than the originals. I haven't tried it out with any heavy loads yet so time will tell. Wish I had gone on line 3 years ago when the same tyre first developed a slow puncture and I took it to a local tyre place which charged me £10 to 'repair' it achieving zilch.

I bought these because simply buying inntubes for my punctured tyred cost around £8 for 2, so because the were only £12.95 I thought I'd just swap the wheels it would be easier . If you look at the Photo's you can see the new ones have a slight ridge wher the bearing part sticks out, if you look at my old wheel in the picture it's flush. Because of this slight difference it meant it was too long and I was unable to get the split in into the barrow. However I decided to let the tyres down and swap the new part for the old back part allowing it to fit perfectly and rer inflate the tyres . I achieve the objective but be aware they are ll the same axle length if you buying. Took me about half an hour to sort and it's all good now.

j'ai remplacé les roues pleines de mon rolator afin de pouvoir l'utiliser à l'extérieur l'axe des roues est de 16mm et a été adapté par mon garagiste pour le rolator qui a un axe de 8mm J'en ai commandé une seconde paire immédiatement.

Les roues sont freinées au serrage de l'écrou de blocage. Chaque côté de l'axe (femelle) de roue a une sorte de repli sur lequel appuie d'un côté l'arrêt de roue interne de l'axe (mâle) du charriot (rondelle fixe) et de l'autre la rondelle libre de l'écrou de blocage externe. Curieusement si on serre bien l'écrou, la roue ne tourne plus alors que cela ne devrait avoir aucun rapport puisqu'il y a des roulements. On doit donc serrer le moins possible l'écrou sur l'axe et l'idéal serait dans ce cas de pouvoir rajouter un contre-écrou, quitte à mettre 2 écrous fins plutôt qu'un seul. Tant que le prix reste inférieur à celui équivalant à l'achat d'un pneu et d'une chambre à air sans la jante, le produit reste de toute façon acceptable, d'autant plus qu'on peut conserver la jante d'origine du charriot et y monter les pneu et chambre neufs qui, eux, sont strictement identiques à ce qui est monté d'origine sur ce genre de charriot.
