Fool proof rest
I have shot numerous fall away rests and never liked the fact that there are so many moving parts. Not as big of a deal if you are a tree stand whitetail hunter. I hunt out west and the bow can take a beating. I'm not always coming off the mountain every night so if something were to fail, it would take me a full day to go get it fixed. After my Vapor Trail fall away rest broke, luckily white at the practice range, I gave up on fall away type rests and picked up one of these. My kid has one on his Infinite Edge and I always liked the design. Long story short, no moving parts and when set up properly, drives tacks. You can't go wrong with this rest in fact I got a second one to put on my backup bow or to use as parts. My only complaint is that the bottom brush wears down quickly. Order spare brushes with it and you will be good for a couple years.

Should have gone biscuit.
I thought this would be a good alternative to a whisker biscuit having no contact with the fletching. It works well, is easy to adjust and feels like it releases without contact with the arrow at all, however I've been using it for a couple days and have already burnt up the brushes. They do sell the brushes separate for not a lot of money, but I'm not interested in constantly maintaining a subpar rest. Definitely not built to last, I will be switching back to a trophy ridge whisker biscuit which is actually cheaper.

Put it on my Samick Sage recurve. Shooting much tighter group than off the shelf.

brushes wear out very quickly
while product works great initially, very soon the brushes wear out. I imagine you'd have to replace at least once a season. longterm, not sure what the availability will be for replacement parts.
