The perfect black and white laser printer
The HP1012 laser printer has absolutely no bells and whistles. Doesn't print color. Doesn't require proprietary toner cartridges. Best of all.. all it does is print. Page after page. This is a no nonsense workhorse of a printer. I use this thing every single night at our business printing nightly reports, employee schedules, inventory sheets, ticket logs, weekly sales reports, boxoffice reports, concessions sales reports, and timeshares. Generic toner cartridges work perfect. Toner run low? Pull it out, bang it on the corner of your desk, put it back in and keep on printing. Looking for a printer your employees can't tear up.. HP 1012 is your answer.

Great Printer for Older Systems
This printer is great for older systems (i.e. Windows 7), but can be difficult to get to work with newer operating systems.

Does not work with Windows 10 or 11
Will not work with Windows 10 or 11. I called and left a message with the seller but I never heard back from their tech department for help or a return code.

Exactly as advertised, cosmetics are good and the printer works perfectly
This is a no frills work-horse printer for a home office or small office. I purchased a refurbished unit from advanced to replace an identical printer I've been using for 20 years. The replacement arrived quickly, no fuss just plug it in and print.

Outstanding technical support
OUTSTANDING technical support. I had an issue loading the HP 1012 driver, user issue. I called technical support and the technician was patient, courteous and professional. Problem solved and the printer works just fine.
