Rust Dissolver Trigger Spray Gel

So first I used this stuff on a rusty can opener, the kind that might be in a horror movie and used for nefarious purposes where they also want the victim to get an infection later. I’m sure it’s been done. SO I used this and it cleaned the darned thing like I was in an infomercial!!!!! I sprayed, I did something else, I came back, I rinsed and VOICI LE CHANGE! That can opener couldn’t wait to open some italian whole tomatoes and not kill me with its rusty poison! The rust was GONE! Then full of Obama-level hope, I headed off to the shed. Rusty loppers-done, clippers-done, old school edger-couldn’t find it, other junk- all clean and sharper as a result. Absolutely great!!

Works well and removes rust as advertised. You may have to apply 2 or 3 times to get ALL the rust but with patience to do your job right you will succeed. Don't believe the other "Magic Rust Removers" (Spray on: Rinse off). If you believe them you deserve to lose your money.

Does it work? Yes. Does it work like I thought? Not quite as effective as I expected, though ultimately DOES WORK. (Just lower your expectations of magic one notch and you’ll still be happy). Upgrade from CLR, for sure! RECOMMEND having this handy for those “rusty something” moments, but follow package directions AND limitations / avoidances. (No horror stories here because we have so far). Smell is “nothing.” Value is great since this bottle will likely last us a decade. It does not dry; you have to wash it off (key item). It does not matter for scratches, sturdiness, or softness.

Very impressive! See video. I use this on old steamer trunk I'm fixing up, was covered in rust. After just a quick spray, it turned from brown and rusty to silver and pretty clean. I did find that after leaving it in the garage for a bit it did go back to being a little bit rusty but not nearly as bad and only surface rust. So I'd say using this cleaning product to get most of the rust off and then going back over with a metal polisher is the best move for a long-term results. Overall though very impressed with how easy it was to use and how fast it made results. definitely recommend wearing gloves while handling, and don't spray it full strength, it'll rebound off of the metal. Heck I'd even recommend just opening the bottle and using a brush to brush it onto the metal, instead of using the spray head. The gel is pretty thick so it doesn't lay evenly across the metal if you spray it, I had to spread it out with my hands manually.

Worked ok. It did take a lot of the rust off but not nowhere near all of it. Left a chalky look to the metal once wiped off and dried.

Wow! Used this to clean off hubs on my car as I live on the east coast and rust is always a thing and it made them look so much better after only 5 minutes. I tried them on aluminum bolts and the rust melted away. Very impressed!

Chrome bathroom light fixture was getting rusty. I wasn't ready to replace it yet. Ordered this product, followed the exact directions, magic. Most of the rust is gone. It does not look like new but lot better than before. I assumed the spray bottle will spray the gel and I don't have to use a brush to apply. Wrong. The gel comes out in streams, so I had to use a brush anyway. There is a gel bottle available in home improvement stores for a lower price. Oh well.

I was very hopeful this product would help me do away with heavy rust stains in tube and sink from rust bacteria in water well. It’s a jell and takes several pumps to cover the area. I sprayed it on and let it sit for 20 minutes. Much of the stain came off. I did scrub some with a brush. A second coat left over night did the tick. All rust stains gone! I did treat the water well so I’m hoping no more stains.
