Tough, pleasing to the eye, looks like the images. The buckles seem a bit fiddly at first, but you get used to them quickly, and they're very secure. Even then it's less convenient than velcro or snaps, but way more survivable. I've used it extensively since I purchased it and grown to be quite reliant on it. I got it specifically for its large size, which works well for me. I am a fairly large man, though, and can't speak to how comfortable that would be for someone smaller. It is heavy on the shoulders at first, but transferring it shoulder to shoulder I've been able to comfortably carry it all day on a regular basis. Overall one of the best messenger bags I've ever had, well worth the price. In general, I highly recommend this product.

Bag is better than pictured. I highly recommend adding some Renovateur (Saphir, or any leather conditioner) and rubbing in small amounts for a few days. The leather is good quality, looks good, and holds my laptop, gaming headset, mouse, sunglasses and room for a book or two. It has been a lovely addition and beats a backpack.

I was skeptical at first, a nice leather bag for such a low price?! When it arrived the leather was definitely dehydrated. I used a leather conditioning cream on it and it brought the bag to life. Now I apply the cream every 6 months or so and travel regularly with the bag. There's tons of storage for a laptop, tablet, books, headphones, and so much more. This thing is so big inside it could practically be used as a weekender bag.

Wow to be honest I didn’t think it would be as nice as it’s marketed on here. Delivered on time and well packaged. My lap top and books fit perfectly. When I held it, it felt professional, classy and very slick. The style appearance is very slick and I like it a lot. Very happy with this product. It looks good, smells good and feels good. I like the additional space on the outside pockets. Fits a cell phone or even external drives. I really liked the clips. They are sturdy and have the brass vibe. I’m very impressed with this purchase. Glad I’m stepping away from my traditional backpack. Some people may not like that it has a buckle rather then magnet. Magnets can keep it closed but not secure. So if you’re someone like me that stumbles or lives speedy. You would want this bag rather than a magnet so that your contents don’t fall out.

I bought two big leather bags, this one and an even larger one, from this company. I use one for computers and other electronics and the other for books and papers, both for transport and as organizational storage. Together, they're like a portable office. They look fabulous, they hold a lot, especially compared with similar offerings from other companies, and they have lots and lots of USEFUL pockets and compartments. For the price, I don't see how you're going to do better than this. They are as well made as anybody has a right to expect at this price point. The zippers are smooth and the seams are tight. Having said that, I wouldn't put 40 pounds of books in one and then nonchalantly and frequently jerk it around by the handle alone or the shoulder strap alone. I just take a reasonable amount of care when moving them, but that's only precautionary. And this model, I notice, has some substantial reinforcement under the handle, so maybe my caution is overkill. If the load is lighter, I don't worry about it at all. And I've had these for a full year now, so I'm not going on just first impressions.

This bag is exactly what my husband was looking for. He also looked at bags that were 2 to 5 times more expensive, but this one seemed a reasonable price and what he was after. It's excellent quality for the price. It stands on it's own, which is what he needed, and the buckles and strap are sturdy.
