Drys fast , keep the lid on the bottle and you'll be fine
I like this stuff. It does tack up quickly, so I just put like a teaspoon more or less on the pallet or in a small lid or something? and mix into the paint I'm using at the moment to hasten the drying time of that particular color ...if you need to layer a color over another as a sort of glaze, that helps increase transparency. It doesn't have an odor as such, it's not fumy or anything like that. I used to use Liquin for the same reasons, but I think this is less 'gummy' or 'cloudy'? I'm not sure how to describe the differences, but this is working for my purposes now. I would say, don't leave the lid off the bottle or pour out more than you need for a session, or it will just be wasted. I have not mixed large amounts of paint with this, just canvases between 9x12,-24x36, sizes, and not impastos, I do thin layers to medium thick swatches for the most part, pretty standard average thickness pictures. I think this is more economical than some others, works for me, doesn't change the color of the paint .

Careful What You Wish For.
I got it in my head that the reason I paint so slow, is because of how long the paintings take to dry. Figured I needed a medium that could speed that process up. Well, this does the trick. But be warned, it might throw off your pace if you're used to having plenty of time to work on a painting. This stuff can start to dry as you're using it. Folks say it can even dry up in the bottle, so I've been using it in a little cup with a lid, but even doing that, if you pour some onto your palate it gets on the rim of the cup, and if you happed to lightly touch that cup, it will try to stick to you - and might tip over. That wasn't fun when I did it. But, if you know what your doing, have at it, it will definitely speed things up. And, one more thing, there's no big bad smell.

The bottle tops suck
I like the effects and how the stuff works but the design of the lids need to be redone. This is my second bottle and once again I can barely get the top off. I’ll probably have to get a wrench. Why does it need a child safety top? It’s completely stripped at this point. Is a child going to try to drink it?

Awesome
I've had oil paints for years and now I can finally paint with them. I'm still learning but this things out the paint very nicely and leaves a glossy finish. Also increases drying time! A small bottle will last you a while as you don't need too much. I just dip the wood part of my paint brush into it and then right to my paint pallet. I decided on this product after watching a "how to oil paint" video on YouTube and the lady said this was her current favorite medium and I agree.

Glossy top coat
This item works better with oil based paint. I used it to add a gloss to a image done in marker to pop the color.

I'm sure the product itself is great, but it never arrived. I've tried contacting the seller, but was advised to check with my neighbours and the post office - it wasn't there. Disappointing.

It's great! Got it much cheaper than its actual price. It speeds up drying time!
