Minka Lavery 1008-44-PL Four Light Flush Mount

The mount method for the plastic lens that covers the fixture and bulbs is primitive. I could not remove it without breaking it. The supplier got me a replacement lens quickly, but it will probably break the next time I have to replace a bulb.

Looks great - provides more than enough light for closet. Happy with purchase.

Fixture was as described, & once installed worked perfectly. Once up & running, we were very pleased with its appearance.

Disappointed in the Amazon fulfillment process so far. I ordered two of these at the same time. (Only 4 left in stock - order soon!) and while the first unit arrived in fine condition within the Prime schedule, apparently there's no telling when the second one will even be shipped. (Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date.) They happily charged my account for both lights, however. This brand and particular fixture can be purchased almost anywhere - and that's what I may have to do in order to get the second light here before who knows when… The light itself is OK, but now that I see it, it's not worth the price they're asking. While the styling on the "cloud" cover is nice, it barely hangs onto the lip of the fixture itself, and then it doesn't even completely cover the fixture. So if you're looking at it from an end view, you'll see the fixture between the ceiling and the top of the cover. At almost $200 per unit, that's a real fit and finish problem in my opinion. Update: Well, the second light finally arrived two weeks after the first one. However, the lens/cover was cracked. So it has to go back. Since the first purchase was made as part of a 15% off deal, it becomes a bit more than just a simple return. But Amazon Customer Service was helpful and will make the cost of replacement the same as the cost with the previous promotion - even though that promotion is long over now.

This light is so amazing, it totally brightened up my entire closet! While I probably could have gotten away with the two bulb, the four bulb makes it possible for me to see everything in my closet and not guess at all as to what color anything is, plus it looks great! I am a total fan of the look of the cloud, I have had cheap fluroescent bulb fixtures before, this is nothing like those, it was very easy to install and looks great, what more is there? Nothing!

Like the style and it was a perfect replacement for my old flush mount. However, gets a 4 star rating, 'cause for some reason with this model, I can REALLY hear the flourescent bulbs humming. I'm NOT a fan of this noise. I use the same T-83 bulbs I had in my old flush mount, they didn't hum in that fixture. Does show bright light.

Good material, design, not complicated to install, and enough light over the area where it was installed.
