203457 Extension Table Base TSB/1-MW 1000

The one thing lacking in the MFT3 was the ability to cross cut long boards. I had a Kapex that I was using for that purpose but board width is limiting and you needed lateral extensions to support longer boards. Because I don't do trim carpentry I was able to sell the Kapex and more than pay for this extension table. I've included a photo of how awesome it is for long boards. I'm using an old MFT top as the spoil board, very handy. If you're limited on room the table detaches easily, folds up and can be put just about anywhere. Wish I had done this years ago.

I purchased this for my Festool Kapex saw stand, and despite the manufacturer stating it wasn't designed for that stand, I used it successfully by simply leaning the end on top of my saw's stand. I could clamp it securely, but have not had to as it balances perfectly the stand for my uses.

Purchased this with the mw 1000 mobile work station. There again little pricey but it is well built unlike some of the all plastic ones.

Like all the Festool product, made well, works well, plays well with companion pieces and is easy to store.

Expensive but worthy, great quality, exactly what you expect from Festool.

20mm grid does not align with the MFT grid. Why have an extension table that does not align. Extension table does not match the MFT width. Accordingly this item lacks enough utility to support its exorbitant price!

Better instructions on how to put together almost ripped it apart

This TSB/1-MW extension is a very useful addition to the Festool MFT table. It allows longer boards to be supported while cut and also assists the handling and support of full sized sheet materials. It is very simple to use and well made. As ever with Festool, pricing is high (hence four stars) but these do sometimes come up on Amazon warehouse.
